Usually, when the sounds are in the belt, and it just reads the toy's pins to see what sound it'll play, some readings just have no sound at all in order to give space for later toys with sounds of their own. That's what people usually call a placeholder.
Zi-O's belt is mixed though. It has standby jingles and shows the name of the Watch used, and that's built into the belt and can't be changed later, but the Watches have sounds of their own. So, some of the display screens in the belt seem to be deliberately generic to allow them to add future unplanned content. For example, "Rider (2019)" and "Rider (Next)" probably are placeholders that will be likely used with a Watch for next year's Rider rather than specific screens intended to be used with some specific Zi-O content. When you use the Watch there, it'll have sounds of its own, but will just display one of those generic screens. RIDER (らいだー) or RIDER (XXXX) probably will be used with the Gashapon RideWatches of older secondary Riders, like Meteor, since the Zi-O Driver has no specific screens for secondary Riders from shows older than Ex-Aid (outside of Diend). They aren't getting Ridewatches in the main toyline, just cheaper low quality ones, which is why they weren't a priority. Last edited by NeonZ; 09-06-2018 at 06:51 AM.. |

Gashapon Ridewatches, which are lower quality toys but a cheaper alternative for those who can't spend as much

So if Tsukuyomi does become Rider 3, then we will have a female Rider in Zi-O.
Using the same naming conventions as Geiz as well. |

Yeah Gashapon ones will sometimes have the sounds built in too so you can use them without having any roleplay toys.

And the 1.5 (according to the subs at least) points out her name as meaning "counting moons" like a lunar calendar. So that also fits the "telling time" motif, as well as the mythology aspects to fit the "king" aspect as well as Geiz/Gates does. 2038 should be aqua Can't remember for sure if that was his year from the OOOs movie. We're assuming "Next" is a new rider of an upcoming too. They might be using it for referencing KR Next. Like how Amazons is in the belt. Last edited by Librarian; 09-11-2018 at 06:45 PM.. |
