This episode was fantastic, as usual. I had written a list of my predictions for Shiina Naoki, and it was 1) Master in disguise (this would have been hilarious) 2) Some clone of Onisister and 3) a self-insert cameo from the writer.

I was sort of right on one of my calls!

Also I took the ending of that episode where Haruka acknowledged she could not beat Naoki to mean that she needed to mature and grow, and, lol, that?s literally what it meant. Pretty neat little wrap up to the whole story.

Now that I am thinking about it, though, why the heck did Shiina Naoki save inubro? Haha. I guess she knew his identity? Oh well. I heard the Donbrothers writer himself say ?I like loose ends? in a special feature on the Cutie Honey Blu Ray set. So let?s just say this is one of them loose ends he likes.

Also I?m not sure what translation will be used for Inubro?s roll call. It basically translates to ?Number One at Escaping? except he literally says ?Numbah Wan? - ?Wan? being the sound they think a dog makes, like ?woof? or ?bark? in English. My idea for the translation in order to keep the pun: ?Number One Escape Arftist!? Just my idea. I don?t translate any of these and I certainly don?t know Japanese.

Oh yeah as the future haruka was getting beamed up into that time hole she was saying ?It?s all in my Manga? as a response to our Haruka wanting to ask more questions.

What did present day Haruka want to know? I think she was asking about why her future self had beef with Momoitaro and then also why the heck her future self fell in love with Sarubro. The first question I listed is important, while that last one it?s not important - we can guess how two friends might fall in love. Any other questions she asked?

Maybe the manga can prove that present day Haruka is not a plagiarist. Yeah, I?ll bet on that.

Its got to be deliberate since that manga at the end was from the episode that specifically foreshadowed Shin being Haruka.

Very late as always, but this was insane.

Who rescued Tsubasa from the forest? Bunny costume manga artist. Who is bunny costume manga artist? Haruka from the future. Why? Vacation.

You cannot make this shit up if you tried, this is Donbrothers. Also cue the random Taro identity crisis solved by his crush. This is Donbrothers.

And if it all of this wouldn’t be enough, here's Don "T-800" Murasame casually setting a Super Sentai series up with more motorbike action scenes than the last three Kamen Rider seasons combined. Yes, this is hyperbole. But how much did I have to exaggerate? Not much.

Also, I'm kind of mad about Haruka losing her career as a manga artist because her future alternate dimension self decided to take a break in the alternate past and to publish a manga, fully aware that another version of her lives there and might do the same. Alternate future Haruka really should’ve thought this through, but it is kinda fitting that she didn't.

Curious what crazy random secret is hidden in the manga now.
