I hear bad things about that DVD set like the picture and audio looking like shit.

For toku that where adapted into anime. There was also Seigi wo Ai Suru Mono - Gekkō Kamen (The One Who Loves Justice: Moonlight Mask). Moonlight Mask was one of Japan's first Toku TV shows in the late 1950's and got a anime adaption in the 1970's.

So what if Saban adapted Ultraman Tiga in the late 90's similar what they did with Power Rangers, Masked Rider, VR Troopers and Beetleborgs? How do you think it would have turn out?

I think it may have done better, as long as he didn't try to link it to PR, like KR did from the beginning. I honestly don't know why KR and VR Troopers did bad.
