I've only seen the two-part premiere, so my thoughts at present are absolutely just based on previews and hearsay.
The Decepticons were my biggest concern since they're all just so... weird. I'm not opposed to the different take on Cons (I want a new beast show, and this kiiind of goes there...) and some come across pretty neat, but most are just an ugly "weird" and come across as far, far too eccentric. And they seemed to be literally going for a monster of the week approach to the show, which I'm not down for at all either. But besides being a bit too much of an 80s/90s pro wrestler, Underbite wasn't really too bad of a start.

Can't say I'm honestly that impressed with RID so far. I appreciate the direction it's going in but it just isn't for me, nor am I a fan of the animation style.

I'm surprised you didn't just buy it given how long it was readily available in the UK.

That trilogy set annoyed the hell out of me. I had the three separately and then they made it the only way to get Zone. It's the only piece of G1 I don't have on DVD now.

I bought Victory on it's own for like 20 bucks sealed on eBay, because of MP-24 as well.
The show isnt bad but not really good either. |
