- Parad seems like kind of a nice guy when he isn't in a bad mood. Always fun when a show gives a genuine excuse for Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain behavior. He might actually be the most consistently pleasant Rider in the show behind Emu, now that I think about it. Weird.

- Holy f*** Hiiro actually remembered he had a girlfriend! Given certain things magazine scans have assured me are happening later, this is a very good sign. Super happy to see that come up again.

- Aw... Taiga's such a teddy bear deep down. No but really, him and Hiiro continue to shine as characters, and they've both come a long way from their seemingly one note beginnings.

- And Emu... sure is trying, man. Bless his little heart, he really is, but I still think the show is struggling a little bit to find a use for him now that his role as "token sane person" is getting less and less useful as Brave and Snipe start to get their acts together. It'd probably help if the patients that are allegedly so important to make smile ever felt like more than a background element. That being said, it's pretty obvious all this is intentional to some extent, so I'm not so much bothered by it because it's bad writing (it isn't), but more because there's literally never been a Rider series where the main guy isn't the one I'm rooting for the most. I thought Emu was pretty good and even showed signs of greatness for about the first quarter, so it's been sort of sad to see him become so strangely ineffectual in his own show. I really hope this is just going to make it feel that much more awesome when he gets his next upgrade and presumably starts being truly relevant again.

- Oh, Dan, you're so wacky. Not only can you constantly get your crap kicked in by everything and everyone in the show, you can also manage to make basically everything the heroes do outside of saving patients completely pointless and still win anyway! No wonder you went with Dangerous Zombie. And you keep doing those ridiculous poses when you transform, too! You're just such a weirdo I don't even know what to make of you anymore. Which is why it's a good thing next week seems to finally be advancing your character in a big way.

And that Gashat is a mysterious thing that shouldn't exist, and has the unusual power to split Emu into two dudes, so this actually makes a lot of sense. I gotta say, sometimes this show can be pretty clever when it feels like it.

This episode pretty much sealed the deal for me, Taiga is my favorite character in Ex Aid.

Mmmm, that was some good stuff! I liked seeing Taiga do things again finally, plus he got some nice interactions with both Hiiro and Niko. Seriously pleased with how Hiiro and Taiga have been progressing as characters. That next episode looks like it'll be a good one, I am always hyped to see Dan's actor ham it up.

I'm wondering inb4 Emu and M already have a conversation... about Bugster and Doctor...

In ep 10, M takes control before play game and Emu doesn't seem like he forgot everything about that... and Parad said "so that's how u play EMU"

First i thought Emu and M already know and acknowledge each other, so that Emu still have conscious when M takes control.

And now in ep 19 20, It feels weird about Emu and M...

Poppi is the goddamn best.

Snipe level 50 looks a lot better in action than it did in the previews. I'm either starting to get used to the aesthetic or Ex-Aid's suits are getting less stupid; I'm not sure which is the case.

The episode as a whole was good. The victim was kinda forgettable outside of some funny scenes, but the stuff with all three main Riders was great. I wish I remember what happened to Hiiro's fiance better, though. It's been at least 10 episodes since that was last mentioned and I don't remember any of the details at this point.

To be fair we don't really have that many details in the first place. She was sick with the virus, her Bugster was Graphite, who Taiga failed to defeat, which is why she died...other than that there's not much to know.

Not much to add other than to say I really liked the episode and still think that M is the real Emu (that's why they couldn't draw him out - he was standing right there).

The only complaint is that the VotW was kind of forgotten!

IIRC scans have shown Vernier fighting the midseason form, so he's probably going to appear. That said, I loved his fight against Snipe-especially the mini-JC Gamer spam.
