As of today, I finally started watching Kamen Rider Blade.

Due to Stronger being only the second Showa season I watched after Amazon, these crossover episodes were a pretty big deal for me at the time, as my first time seeing Rider 1, 2, V3, Riderman and X out of suit.

While I mostly liked how General Shadow was a cunning villain, I was a little disappointed when he basically just gave up on his schemes after the rest of Delza Army turned against him.

Shame this final arc didn't completely land for you, but I'm glad you were able to enjoy it for what it was.

I mean, I get that aspect, given that he's the Big Bad of almost all of Showa and all, but like, if he's both Black Satan and Delza, why would he lead a coup against himself? Just makes no sense...

It is in character. In the original series, after all of Shocker?s executives were killed, he moved into business with Geldam and had the remaining Shocker members hunted down and killed.

Thanks. I am up to the 10th episode of Blade and I got to say, the show looks to be pretty good so far.
