I was never into G.I Joe because military heroes never appeal to me, unlike Transformers. Even as a kid, I thought the series was kinda boring.

I just watched Halloween Kills (finally) in preparation for Halloween Ends and to be honest, I wasn't a fan. I didn't like the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre either. I feel like horror movies these days are unnecessarily brutal to the point where it just feels cruel, not scary. I don't enjoy that. TCM sequels have always been over-the-top, so that one was a bit expected, but Halloween always seemed like it was more subtle in its approach to being a slasher. These newer ones just leave me feeling bad.
I'll still watch Ends, but I'm no longer very excited for it. I'm almost scared to watch the Scream that came out earlier this year.
