Anyone know of any better quality subs for Boukenger than TVN? The video quality is just so poor on theirs

Hikari Senshi have done the first episode (which I'll go and add to the first page now) but that's it as far as I know.

I didn't think it was too bad. And I'm one of those people who really enjoys HD. I came to terms with not having things in HD if they're only available in SD. Anything that is pre-HD broadcast/recorded and hasn't been released in Blu-Ray I am perfectly okay with w/e is available. It's better than nothing.

Does anyone have or know where to find Dead Fish's Goranger releases? Been googling in hopes that someone gave them a new home after Megaupload vanished, but haven't found anything.

TV-Nihon is doing the show, too. Just keep in mind that their subs are a lot more literal than O-T's and they tend to leave some things untranslated, which may or may not work for you. Their sub files also have lower quality video, but the trade off is that it's in a more universal format.

I've been using OT to watch Gobusters since, for the most part, their translations on it are quite a bit better than TVN. But actually translating the Oh in GobusterOh to King seems kinda odd to me. If the name was literally intended to be King then that's the name that Bandai would have given the mech like Gaoking. By OT's logic then Gokaioh, Engine Oh, GingaOh, DairenOh, and many others should be directly translated as King. It's picky I know but when I watch Gobusters that really irks me. TVN hasn't done nearly as good a job on Gobusters as they did with Gokaiger but it's still an enjoyable watch. After having seen the first 8 episodes form both groups and comparing the 2 I'd say they're right on par. When one of them really fumbles or cops out on a translation, then the other usually picks it up a bit better.

Yeah, not everything can handle the 10bit HD that O-T uses. That's another drawback to their subs. If you can get it to work, though, it's gorgeous.

10-bit you say? I have a pretty new and nice laptop, just tell me how to use that setting and I'll see if I can get my quality issues fixed.
