You will love Magiranger. It's just so well done, with a truly epic plot.

MagiRanger was okay. The villains are really what carries the shows as the rangers are bland, generic, and terrible actors. With the villains, we get several Lovecratian characters (Dagon, N-Ma is pretty much just Cthulhu as even how he first shows up is taken right off the cover of a Call of Cthulhu book) along with villains based off actual monsters like Frankenstein, The Mummy, an Incubus, a vampire, etc.

I am also watching a bit of of Magiranger (among other Sentai shows including Dekaranger on which I liked so far though my mind still prefers SPD) and I am enjoying it so far. Currently going to watch third and fourth episodes of Boukenger and then move on to the third and fourth episodes of Gekiranger and possibly watch the first four episodes of Go-onger and then first four episodes of Shinkenger and even the third and fourth episodes of Goseiger and back to watching at least two subbed episodes of GoGoFive and repeat the process I more or less started with my Sentai viewings as of late.

And then I realized that I'm really watching the 10th episode of Kyoryuger. Whoops.
Yeah, this is the basically closest thing I'm doing in trying set up some sort of schedule or at the very least, trying to have some form of consistency in watching Super Sentai just by watching at least 2-4 episodes at a time per series unless I ended up watching a multi-part story arc on in which case I will stop right around its resolution or if the story ends on an odd numbered episode, an episode afterwards. It helps that a lot of it is on Youtube. If you want, I can tell you on how am I progressing in my Sentai viewings so far. |

Boukenger Task 27, The Feng Shui Fortune Telling Trap. The Jaryuu triber Towlon gets his hands on a Precious in the form of a Feng Shui Compass Board, and uses it to give Chief incredibly bad luck. Mostly a comedy episode with Cheif's pratfalls, and then Boukenred appearing in a ridiculous costume at the end with the good luck charms that his teammates got him. Towlon is a good monster -- very appropriate that the monster who masters Feng Shui is a Chinese dragon, yes?
