Started watching Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka. Well, it's a pretty funny fantasy with an interesting twist, often used in other genres or for a couple of episodes. The rushed plot can be forgiven, especially since the over-reliance on the MC is explained by events from the erased world. But all the characters are terribly lacking depth and some kind of zest.

Did the first two episodes of Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact. Problem is that I never saw the original anime and I don't know what the difference is between the two. Is one closer to the Go Nagai manga as opposed to the other one?

As for myself, I've been watching Kinnikuman Perfect Origin. It continues from the original manga and the manga it is base off of actually continues the number count from the original run. And being no longer serialized on Weekly Shonen Jump it gets to Kengan Ashura levels of bloodiness at times.

I watched Unico on the Island of Magic (1983). A good, kind cartoon, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes scary. With morals. The authors’ desire to show off the animation capabilities is very noticeable, which is why there are many scenes of unnecessary, but very beautiful scenes. In short, Osamu Tezuka is a genius.

Watched the first episode of Cyberslav. Well, it's basically a mix of Cyberpunk and Berserk with the aesthetics of the Eastern Slavic Middle Ages. Simple and clearly loses to the best representatives of the genre, but overall I liked it. I just hope that the show will have other seasons besides winter, otherwise it turns out to be some kind of self-cliche. For those who are interested in watching, here is a link:

I finally got around to watch the Compilation Movies for Gundam: Reconquista in G.
And while I generally agree with the notion that these films are probably the best way to watch G-Reco, I do think fans tend to overhype them a bit? Movies 1 and 2 are handled very oddly overall, such as the first film having really odd pacing and Movie 2 omitting certain scenes from the TV show that I enjoyed. I wouldn't be surprised if Movie 1 alone turned any newcomers away. Plus, I feel like the small handful of extra scenes we get across the five movies, while they are nice, aren't the sort of thing that's going to turn someone who hated the original anime into someone who now loves it. These movies are very much for people who either already liked G-Reco or are trying to get into it. But wouldn't you know it, I'm included in that. I liked the original anime back when it aired and I still like it here in movie form. Movies 3 and 4 are especially nice. Both of them having an extra 15 minutes of runtime over the other three films is a major plus in helping with how the events of both movies flow. And the new Photon Torpedo scene in Movie 4 was very well done. If you want my personal recommendation of how to go through Reconquista in G, I'd say to just watch the original episodes of the anime that Movies 1 and 2 cover(1-11 if I recall right), then go ahead an watch Movies 3-5. But if you'd rather not bother with that kind of effort, then yeah, just watch all five movies. Just keep in mind they get better as they go rather than being the 1000% more effective way to watch this entry in the franchise. TL;DR: I liked these movies for what they were, and I'm glad this rather underrated entry in the Gundam franchise was given a second chance.

Me and some friends hang out together almost every friday to watch stuff and lately we've been watching Initial D First Stage, I had never seen it before but it's been quite thrilling, the race scenes are cool, the music is fantastic, the cast is generally likeable and we've been having fun riffing on stuff we find silly or great. In terms of manga, I also read the entirety of Claymore a few days ago and words cannot describe how beautiful thst was

Got hooked on Yami Shibai. Short 4-minute horror stories with no general plot and with an atmospheric ending. There are as many as 14 seasons and a spin-off about ninjas. Overall, a good thing to tickle your nerves late at night. Although, if you find fault with something, the scariest stories were used in the early seasons.
