Oh hush you.
It's a great show, don't let Switchblade's impression of Wataru from the first part of the series, which he does evolve from, deter you from watching it. The whole show is about growing changing and evolving to meet the needs of Wataru's life and Kiva's battles. By the end he's a true badass. Progression is the whole point for Kiva. Characters that grow, and shows that evolve, are a great thing but toku shows are long, and if you have other things to watch, I really can't comprehend why a person would put themselves through almost a thousand hours of something they hate, just in the vague hope it all becomes worth it by the end. Because there is no guarantee even those last handful of episodes will change your mind.

Now you'll have to add shirtless Wataru to shirtless Daigo and Date. |

Wow, so much talk about Kiva reminds me that I need to get back to watching it.
Also, Sentai, yes Break the Chain is awesome. However my personal favorite song from the series goes to Circle of Life. I mean, well... LISTEN TO IT! |

Yes, but how many times do they played that one? Seriously, I want to compliment the soundtrack for Kiva so for the love of god PLAY SOMETHING ELSE!

At points I felt that Otoya and Wataru were tricking us, knowing how to play a single song does not equate to be a virtuous music. Otoya did play another song in the first few eps, didn't he? It was in a restaurant I think. |
