What did you guys think of the series you finished and what ones were
hit or miss? Saban Era I Zyu - Mega Ranger Jetix Era Deka - Go On Saban Era II Shinken Gosei Gokai Kyo Ryu To Qu Ger Nin Zyu Oh Hasbro Go Busters Kyu Lu Pat Ryu Soul Kira Mage Zen Kai Saban Era I I felt that Mega Ranger was a strong series for Saban Era I and liked it. Also Time Ranger is a fave of mine. Time Fire wasn't as much of an arrogant jerk as Eric was in Time Force and kept more of an open mind. Jetix Era Aba is a good series and I liked it having watched on DVD. Deka was always a face of mine so a high point of the series. I also liked Magi and Bouken. The King Fu theme of Geki was good too. Saban Era II Shinken was actually one of my faves of this run. Gosei was actually a strong series and I liked it having streamed it. Hasbro Era I liked Go Busters with the spy theme / cyber dimension hybrid. Will update after I finish To Qu and.

Shout Factory DVD
Up till Deka we haven't seen any sponsor bumpers before and after so from here on out the Shout Factory sets will now be as if watched on TV so this has kicked in with Deka. My thinking is all sets from here on out will be exactly like the Toei releases. With no clock in the corner. So it will be worth the wait for Shout Factory to bring them over. I wonder if they're using the same master sets as for the Japan home releases.

Man, it's really kind of a bad look to refer to Sentai seasons by Power Rangers eras. Sentai came first. While eras of Sentai aren't as clearly defined as Ultra, Rider and Godzilla, it just seems disrespectful to refer to then as Saban or Hasbro. They didn't make these shows. Toei did

My interpretation of the three most recent eras in Japan is recital (Showa), flat performance (Heisei), and beautiful harmony (Reiwa).

Ryu Soul /
Dino Fury I liked both versions of this and am finishing the final episodes of Dino Fury. Ryu Soul I liked the fantasy aspect but I was wondering about using a person's life force to create a Minisaur. That part I was worried about. Dino Fury I liked the direction Hasbro took with it and the Sporix Beast tweek was a smart move. As for the series it overall was solid. Will finish the last 7 episodes this week.

Zyu
MMPR Zyu While the series was solid over all I don't think the US would have gone for Bandora freaking out the kids. As for the over all I liked it having seen it on Shout Factory DVD. Mighty Morphin While 3 series in the US I feel that they told the story. The only thing was that Dai was about the fight with the Gorma Tribe and trying to integrate it into MMPR was a bad idea. Kaku Over all I really liked Kaku with the Ninja theme and the story they came up with. MMPR III This is where Ninjas worked for Power Rangers. The Ninja series was a slightly better fit for MMPR. We got Ninja Storm (Hurri) and Ninja Steel (Nin). So if we get anything adapted we end up with dinos and ninjas. We've gotten Samurai and kung fu once each so far. Both would be cool to see again.
