This series was my gateway drug to the anime world!
Watching this on the local cable Saturday mornings is one of my earliest memories. I waited almost two decades for this series to finally have some decent merchandise- which has FINALLY happened thanks first to the Armor Plus series and now Max Factory! Any other Tekno fans here?? |

I need to watch this series at some point. I blame Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Hell and Yes. I LOVE this show, and the original Tekkaman. Blade was just awesome with sauce, Pegus was the coolest GD thing Ever, and the whole show was just freaking epic. I even loved that human version. Sol Tekkaman. There was nothing bad about this show... Other than what's wrong with most anime. The way we butcher it for television here in the states.

I loved this show, if only because one of the characters first name was my last name.
Bought the Series boxset a while back. Haven't opened it yet.

One of the characters. Not the main character.

I love this show, was one of my first animes that I watched knowing it was anime. Killed me for years that any Tekkaman figures were crazy expensive Chogokins or what not. Thankfully an affordable Figma is coming that i'm looking forward too. The original 70's one is pretty cool too. Worth checking out if you are into that sort of thing.
