Tokunation.com might be celebrating Power Rangers Super Megaforce this month, but that doesn't mean other series are off the table! We'll be taking a look at Jungle Fury's Jungle Pride Megazord from the popular, but short lived line of MicroZords.
The MicroZord subline was adapted from a BoJ line and first introduced in the United States during Power Rangers Operation Overdrive and ran through Power Rangers RPM. The MicroZords can be thought of as 'Mini-Zordbuilders', in that all figures possess a universal connecting or receiving point which allow various cross-series combinations. The Jungle Pride Megazord stands at approximately 4.5 inches and (technically) has 13 points of articulation. Although Jungle Pride is capable of holding objects, it is not packaged with it's weapon/cat tails. Each of the Zords have a nice amount of sculpted detail but lack thorough paint applications. Regardless, they're still a fun, mini addition to anyone's collection if they can be found for a respectable price. Check out the gallery after the jump! Want TokuNation.com updates on the go? I have the RPM Ultrazord version of this line. Nifty little things, if a bit loose in the connections. Still, the best you can get at this size.

I got mine a while ago and love them all. All 6 sets are fun and versatile. Still need the Engine Shogun from RPM though -.-'

That Retrofire looks pretty badass!
And I agree with everyone else, I saw these going cheap so many times, I wish I'd picked some up because they're fun little figures and even had some unique Megazords too. |
