Something to note about the Blue Centurion release: It's actually labeled as Turbo, instead of being "In Space" like Phantom Ranger was. Could mean they're finally considering giving us some Turbo figures. Would love to have TJ as Turbo Red.

They did actually introduce him on the stream as the 'first' of their Turbo figures for next year! I do think it's funny we have both that season's extras before any of the actual rangers

Phantom Ranger is more extra. He wasn't really part of the team.
Power Rangers made that character more important than they were. Blue Senturion is effectively the 6th ranger of Power Rangers Turbo. Very similar to Magna Defender. Similar to others as well if PR how followed the Sentai format more. So I consider this the usually starting with the 6th ranger the line has done. I think that's why Phantom ranger didn't kick off Turbo. He's not really a team member. But he is important to Turbo and Space. Still surprised that Silver isn't a straight rerelease. It's on a new body. In contrast to space blue which was just silly. |

Signalman is one of the best looking figures in the line so far oh my god! They gave him the whole Studio Series Hot Rod treatment and damn did it work; those colours just pop and he comes with so much. If this is how they handle other Extra Heroes with a lot of complex colours and extra suit parts like this I will not be disappointed
Extra Heroes are actually my favorite characters so I'm glad to see they haven't been skimped on. I think it's just easier to engineer blockier armor heavy suits. You don't have to worry about musculature and unique body proportions... and end up with ranger suits that have more muscles than their live action counterparts.

Surely, I'm not the only one who feels like Hasbro are taking us for a ride by charging for Blue Senturian the same as they do for monsters or vehicle packs?

It looks a bit iffy at first, for sure, but then I look at him and realise compared to every normal LC release he has more accessories, more paint, better details... not to mention his armour to begin with probably necessitated some of it. I compared it to Studio Series Hot Rod over in Transformers -- a deluxe-sized figure sold at the Voyager pricepoint that had similar improvements over normal deluxes and came out a stunningly high-quality figure because of it.
It's certainly not something I'd want to see for every character, but I actually am quite interested to see it for certain designs and it certainly doesn't feel like they're just charging you more for the hell of it -- you can see where the extra money has gone here. If this is the treatment they want to give to other Extra Heroes like for instance Wolzard I'm all for it; this really just means we're getting a much more premium figure than usual

That's basically where I'm at -- I admit I'm biased here; I love Magiranger and Wolzard and it's the number 1 thing I want to see out of LC, but god if he ends up as well-detailed and painted for this I think I might swoon? Would very happily pay an extra 10 dollars for one of the best toku knight designs ever to look as good as this guy

Personally, I really hope that, should we ever get Battlizer figures, that they fall under the "Deluxe" label as well, given just how intricate those designs are.

Size comparisons of the various Dragonzords. So if you wanna display your figure by itself, the ZAP Dragonzord, while still a bit short, is the one that comes the closest to the scale we actually see in the show.
