I haven’t bought Sodo in a while, but that is definitely worrying. Hopefully Sodo doesn’t go the way of the dodo.

I mean...King-Ohger had just come out and I didn't see any toys for it until my last couple of days there, I don't think any of the candy toys had even released yet. Maybe Geats was just between waves?

Still, I thought it was weird, because I saw a bunch of Ex-Aid and Kyuranger toys
at various stores when I studied abroad 6 years ago. I bought a minipla piece at a 7-11.

Yeah, Candy Toy was thriving for the last few years, with sodo in particular constantly evolving until they were even better than that year's mainline figures, and now they've just... slowed down. Hopefully it doesn't mean the end, but it's hard not to see the cracks forming.

Well thriving yes, but Bandai candy toys division ruined it, the RATIO are so bad... we can see 2 weeks ago that seeker or geats powered are the extras instead of twin command!!!!!!!!
Those Feat sodo are thrown away on sale for like 100 yen as soon as possible, as we can usually see on twitter posted by Japanese collectors.

My friend visit japan last month when i ask picture of candy toys on shelf well there are lots of eva frame,g-frame also sodo and shodo but they are the unwanted one .... there are like 5 pairs of revolve on punk jack .... and couple nago fever form

I also seen somewhere someone posted about the asia distribution ver of ID 3 have the extra of revolve on version(armor on legs) of nago or punk jack instead of their body armo one(will posted here once i can find the picture again)

Man, yeah, the exclusive does not look good. I figured something was wrong when the frequency of Geats blog posts dropped so dramatically. That and no more SODO Geats preorders got solicited.

If the line resumes, I'm guessing they'll be doing drastically fewer same-character-slightly-different releases.

Yeah the Geats SODO seem like bad planning or something. All the stores I see SODO at are flooded with PunkJacks and Na-Go forms.
