Ooooof course there are plenty of her on ebay for $100+

Early reviews have not been kind to the figure so perhaps I should just wait for a price drop.

Seems like the Andrew likeness won't be as good as Tobey, but still, the figure itself looks great overall.

Saw some comments on how his legs look so stocky compared to the torso and now I can't unsee. Still pre-ordered him though. Definitely curious to see how he stacks up to the Mafex version that came out years ago.

SHF Amazing Spider-Man has been cancelled, instead a new release will be listed that will exclude the Andrew Garfield unmasked head. Definitely need to contact the middleman service about this

First time I've ever seen this happen to an upcoming release. It also confuses me because like, why is Andrew getting stripped but Tobey and Tom are fine?

Tokullectibles actually emailed me about this. Apparently the plan is just for the price of the upcoming release to get dropped $10?

I'm guessing it's an issue with Andrew's likeness. Maybe his team or the licensee didn't approve of it and it became easier to just omit it from the production, instead of wasting more time trying to get it right. That's just my thinking

Tamashii instead made a new listing for a release without the head, mask, and mask holding hands; so the price point is lower because it comes with less than originally planned

I'm not sure what it means for people that ordered it from PB Japan through a middleman. I would assume PB Japan takes payment upfront, so that would tell me the middleman who purchased it on my behalf is getting that refund. Hopefully it's not a pain to get that money back. The last thing I want is store credit, because this is a unique case where my ordered is cancelled out of circumstance and not because I decided I didn't want it anymore haha

EDIT: Finally had the chance to go through Hobby-Genki's terms of service, which states a full refund is given if an item is cancelled by the manufacturer

Oof. This is a big bummer. I never did watch The Amazong Spider-man 1 or 2 (and I do not want to either), but I got a very positive impression of Andrew Garfield’s take on the character from No Way Home.

I guess it’s nice to still get the suit, but the unmasked heads were a big selling point to me.

I do think this is going to lead to a lot of goofy pictures from the various toy photographers now. You are going to have two spideys without the mask and one who is always wearing one.
