If I had to nitpick, I'd say the smaller insects/arachnids feel a bit odd. Having two spiders form the chest and pelvis is a bit odd, especially since they're obvious parts swaps, and the ladybugs being on top of the forearms and not the side sis odd. (they can attach to the sides, but only if you flip down the stag legs) But I heard someone say that these little bugs could be linkage parts for a large combo, or serve another purpose later on, which does seem likely given the obvious clip bars on the spiders.

That's pretty petty stuff though and again, odds are these idiosyncrasies are future-proofing for more elaborate combinations. We know at least from the show intro that King Ohger has a more complete, armed and armoured form coming up. Other than that this feels about as close to the Sentai Mecha I've always wanted as we've ever gotten. Articulated, solid, quality build, fun combination, cool individual bots, great paint and build. I hope that this level of quality is kept up, unlike the following mecha from DonBrothers which felt like it regressed a bit after Onitaijin itself.

Thanks! I it the bullet and got them. So far so good. Im still wondering why they use clear clips though. Some parts i fear are not future prooth. Clear clips on Kuwagata and Tombo as well as Tombo's wings. I hope I'm wrong. Btw i got the Kabuto gift set and dont see any manual. Did yours come with it?

Yup, no more paper manuals.

Also I wouldn't worry about GodTonbo's wings. The clip part of the wing (the thinnest part) is opaque plastic, and the translucent wing piece itself is pretty solid.

People really boogeyman transparent plastic these days but it's not the ticking time bomb they make it out to be. King Ohger's plastic feels very solid and I can't imagine it breaking any time soon.

I just feel its a mistake to use them in areas that require it to be sturdy. for parts that in the past tend to break even as opaque plastic, im not sure why they went with clear plastic clips. Also where im looking the most fragile part of God Tonbo's wings is clear plastic.

Most of the clear clips aren't where they need to be sturdy. There's clips on the front of the legs, which I can't imagine will hold anything but some additional armour, and clips on the soles of the feet. Those latter ones might be an issue, but anything attaching there would be the figure more or less resting on it. (like feet extensions) And again, the clear plastic doesn't seem brittle or weak at all.

Also no, Tonbo's wings are fine. The only part that could be an issue would be the outside parts of the hinge, (which are opaque blue) as those would be what would stress most if you tried to pop the wings off but, like, don't pop them off then?

Again, clear plastic is not your enemy. It won't just randomly break for no reason. Hell, and this might not exactly be comforting, but Sentai robo have had plenty of clip breaking issues with opaque plastic in the past. Usually it's a design issue, not a materials one. Just to play devil's advocate I played with the clear clips a bit using the spiders's legs, and they don't feel any different than the clips on the spiders' bellies.

I've had plenty of Transformers and even a minipla kit that broke because of the clear plastic.

Transformers use much lower quality plastic than Bandai. (And reports of breakage are still overblown) Also a Minipla isn?t what I would consider a pattern. I?ve broken a Minipla kit before that wasn?t the clear plastic.

Although GPS was actually a really big problem in certain figures between late G1 and Beast Wars figures with a few others here and there since then unlike clear. Clear plastic is more fragile than opaque plastic, and that?s a fair concern, but it won't crumble to dust if you look at it the wrong way like some people think it does. I do however agree with those saying it shouldn?t be used for clips and joints.

I'm more concerned for Hachi's stability. Bear in mind, that leg form is comprised of two clear plastic parts pegging into the Zord's stinger to form a solid foot. Meaning that, if one of them should break, then Down Goes The King.

I wouldn't really cite a Minipla kit as a good example. Minipla kits are made on the cheap and sold for $3-5 a pop.
SMP uses better materials, but I honestly still wouldn't tier them on the level of Gunpla.
