One of Jirou's friends said they once wanted to become invisible. Damn, that was clever foreshadowing! Although I do wonder how these scenes work in Jirou's absence. Like, if his friends are only in his head, then how are we able to see Rumi and her mother back at the village at the same time that Jirou's at his house in Tokyo? Who even made Jirou that bento he shared with Tarou, if not Rumi? Considering Tarou's reaction to Terasaki's cooking, maybe he made that bento as well.

Speaking of Terasaki, turns out he was the Penguin Jyuto all along! So probably Jirou only made that origami cause he knew Terasaki liked them. Sounds like the Penguin's role is to protect the Jyuto Forest and Terasaki seems to be the only one of his kind, so he has to replace hosts who get old so he can continue to serve them. Honestly, I didn't even think about that possibility, that some of these humans who get trapped there and left unconscious eventually die there as well, with no hope of escape or waking up. That's pretty messed up! Makes me see why the Noto think they're abominations.

We know the loss of the human host isn't an instantly fatal effect though, since Inuzuka's Jyuto continued to live for a while until Inuzuka killed him in his weakened state. But that does confirm there's basically no chance for Miho and Natsumi to co-exist, not without completely changing Miho's identity anyway. Inuzuka said he would still love Natsumi if everything about her was totally different, but would Kijino do the same for Miho? That's the only way I could see everybody getting what they want, but it would require some development for Kijino first.

I'd like to offer my sympathy to all the Gaoranger fans out there who had to wait this long for the last Heisei Hitotsuki to show up. Weird how two out of three of Kijino's Hitotsukis were from Sentai without pink though. King-Ohger's also here (the mecha, not the team, it's confusing), since neither Don Onitaijin nor ToraDragonjin can be formed without Tarou and Jirou. As expected of Inoue's relationship with merchandise, this giant-sized deus ex machina gets no explanation at all.
