Hello everyone,
I've been collecting Super Sentai toys since 2014. It started with Gosei Great. In September I got the Korean version of Datias. There isn't any difference between the BOJ and BOK versions of the toys as fat as I know. I got the BOHK versions of the brothers set, Kabuto and Ika origamis. They all worked with my Gosei Great, Shinken-Oh and Daikai-Oh respectively (I got the BOJ version of Shinken-Oh and Daikai-Oh) I've also been collecting the BOHK Chrome plated Power Animals which are fine for me, they do not appear to be missing anything as far as I know. My worry is though that my toys may be made of low quality plastic due to this line: "...And Korean Gaoranger DX’s are actually made from an entirely separate 2nd production run made specifically for release in that region. As a result diecast parts were removed in most cases and the plastics were of a significantly lower quality." I looked that the Jungle King on Ebay and I didn't really see any differences between it and the Gao king though. It still had the chrome form Gao Bison, the claws of Gao tiger were painted and the metal parts were still present and painted on Gao Tiger and Shark. I'm confused about that. Getting BOHK and BOK toys is cheaper than getting it from BOJ but is it worth it? |

GoseiWonder has purchased a Korean Toy or two, I believe. He might be a better person to talk to.

Indeed I have. And they bar a few examples, the toys are all the same regardless.
The biggest example is Jungle Force, the Korean Wild Force/Gaoranger toys: And the second is pretty much every electronic toy in the last several years having new audio for the Korean release. And I believe Hong Kong always stays with the Japanese audio. |

Don't always avoid them, though.
A lot of the original Gaoranger toys are actually a tad expensive, so if you want something like just the deer or the giraffe, the Korean alternative might be better to grab. Otherwise, yeah.

Plus if it's just going to stand on a shelf, it's still perfect for that purpose.
