Considering the awesome things Ryan has been doing with the DQ and nail salon backdrops and the number of folks asking where to get them, I was thinking maybe we could put together a resource thread for 1:12 scale accessories and where people can get them. (Like the upcoming Gaim-style delivery scooter, for another example.) I mean, for those people interested in dioramas or neat picture scenarios. Good idea? Bad idea?
Edit: Although, now that I think on it, I'm not sure this is the proper section for it. But most of these things are toys, too, so who knows. |

I'll go ahead and post a couple of things I've found.
1:12 Train Station Turnstile (available in black and white): Amazon UK has the White one. Amazon US has the Black one and the White one. HLJ has the Black one and the White one. Plamoya has the Black one and the White one. Need that secret entrance to the Rabbit Hutch? HLJ seems to be the only one to have these locker kits. There is a 1:12 line of furniture known as the Miniatures Design Interior Collection. Mandarake has a box of these, but eBay seems to have the best selection. I particularly love the Egg Chair. Although the Lip Couch is amusing. I keep hoping they'll put a Bravo-style couch. TomyTec makes a number of 1:12 scale awesomeness including School Gates and Train Station Chairs. HobbySearch has most of their stuff in stock. And thanks to uchihabro77, we know AmiAmi is taking preorders on the Gaim-style scooter. Last edited by Thessair; 02-18-2014 at 10:11 AM.. |

With your permission, I'd like to share the finds between here and RangerBoard. Just don't want to cause no rift here. http://www.thefind.com/buy-aHdzHPXV?...ma+model+hobby A science desk, high school by the look of it. Last edited by Baltan II; 02-19-2014 at 11:47 AM.. |

Yay! Some interest in the thread. Here are a few more items:
A good scale fence at HLJ to recreate that rooftop we've seen in every Toku series, ever. A nice classroom backdrop at HLJ. They have a slightly different Showa era classroom as well. And this guy (Macs Mouldings) makes scale sea/boat accessories but he's got awesome things like chairs, doors, hatches, equipment, all kinds of cool things. Plus, he's the only guy I've found so far who makes actual, proper 1:12 scale oil/55 gallon drums. |

There's a series of 1/12 accessories by Hasagawa, they have classroom chairs/desks, office desks, and several other types of chairs/tables/desks.
Example: http://www.hlj.com/product/HSGFA-01/Dol Another company called "Mile Stone" also makes some 1/12 toilet "dioramas" Like this one: http://www.hlj.com/product/MLS46038/Dol They come as a plastic model kits that you have to put together and add some paint to. Scale-wise, they are perfect for Figuarts and Figmas. Yup...even Saiyans gotta go... by Jcee_, on Flickr |
