I mostly use Gundam paint markers. They are a BEST MATCH for Bandai plastics. But I also have all sorts of acrylic, oil, and alchohol based paints depending on the need. |

Thanks again for showing off your stellar figs! And, you're absolutely right about these things feeling like smaller, more bite-sized plastic kits. I've got a couple SHODO figs that should show up today, OOO and Birth, and I'm excited to mess around with them. It's just, I'm more excited about some SO-DO figs that should be showing up later this week, and it's not even characters I care that much about. (Zero-One, I show I haven't even watched yet.) I'm really looking forward to the construction part, you know? That quick, easy achievement of I Made This Little Man. It's an addictive feeling, for sure.

Yeah, Gundam Markers are a basically a must for anyone who likes to paint finer details on kits/figures.

I wish I could do stuff like that. Unfortunately, I've got manual dexterity issues. Can't seem to get my hands to make small precise movements. Something to do with being autistic apparently. I'd love to get some spares to practice on at some point though, to try and get better

Sorry for the double post by the way. Accidentally posted too early, and couldn't figure out how to edit in a multi quote |

But, man, markers on a, like, $4 figure? That does seem like a great way to practice up. I'll have to try and get some spares, too, maybe a base suit figure I'd like to see plussed out. Yeah, I think this could work!

Yeah Gundam Markers are relatively safe too, because you can get a remover and start over easily.
I think most people would be surprised how easy it is to do detail painting. Bandai is great with molding in details allowing paint to sit in recesses. I'll try to do a guide soon. I also paint Minipla, Gashapon, and RKF figures, but SODO are by far my favorite. |

Yeah, I did. Now I get five pounds more spending money than I got at the start of the last line so more toys I can buy.
