I guess they felt the need to make them OP given how much of a joke they've been since the relaunch. There were certainly better ways to go about it though.
We also seem to have come full circle. The Borg from Star Trek clearly took some cues from the original Cybermen but now the Cybermen feel like a knock off Borg

In Nightmare in Silver. The bigger man, who said he's been raised all his life to fight Cybermen? There's a meme that might explain who that is.
His name is Stormageddon. And he is the Ruler of you All. |

Out of all the interesting little theories about Who side characters that float about, I certainly think its one of the better ones.

Yep, and I think it's an utterly ridiculous rumour (which should be obvious since its coming out of the Sun). Do people really think they're going to just throw in an extra regeneration and call it canon?
A more plausible theory I've heard is that he's playing an amalgamation of the three "modern" Doctors, which is why he is apparently wearing Eccleston's coat. Not really sure whether I buy that either, but it sounds more likely that what the Sun is reporting.

Wow Moffat can't get an actor on board so he just makes up a whole new character and chucks it in there?

And this is why I said the scale change for Doctor Who figures was a bad thing
A half decent company could pull figures off this small yeah, but not Character Options. Ice Warrior looks pretty good though, and I'll probably get the Cyberman. And of course the Dalek for obvious reasons

I think the monsters/villains look good but the Doctor is terrible. Clara is... okay. Looks chubby.
I wish they'd revised the scale UP to 1/12 so we partner the Doctor up with Den-O etc. |
