That's actually perfect. A lot of my Riders would be in more crouching/action poses , so this should work really well.
Thank you both! And thank you for the recommendation! |

Oh, man! I'm so excited this thread exists!
One of the few bright spots of the quarantine has been time to get through my Figure-Rise backlog. I'd done a Build kit a year ago, and had been buying other kits with zero time to put them together. Now: All caught up! (Now I've just got a half-dozen Furai Transformer kits to work on...) I really like these kits. They only take about 90 minutes to put together, they look great with the molded plastic and stickers (and can obviously look way better with paint and markers), and the price is dirt-cheap for the quality you get. The poseability is on par with Figuarts for a fraction of the price. And, skill level-wise, they're pretty forgiving. I'm not the most dextrous person alive, and I'm usually pretty happy with the results of these figs. Some thoughts! If you're looking to get started, I'd recommend any of the Double kits. There aren't a ton of stickers, and the construction is pretty basic. It's a great tutorial on how these kits operate. Plus, they're still easy enough to find. I really did not enjoy the Kabuto kit. It's a lot more flexible ABS plastic in the joints, which can be a chore to get wedged into the sockets. If any piece of the kit isn't completely in place, you're going to have problems, and most of my ABS experience is that it doesn't want to be completely in place. I also found the looping stickers on the arms to be a hassle. Ex-Aid, despite all of the black stickers on the torso and legs, that thing was a delight to put together. Real satisfying experience. The Zi-O and Geiz kits are pretty straight-forward, but the black decals on the mask are both a super-important detail that looks good, and an anxiety-inducing nightmare to apply. Weirdly complex, at least for me. Those I all did fairly recently, so they're fresh in my mind, and I don't really remember my experience with Build. It... must've been good? I mean, I bought another seven kits (and ordered more that haven't arrived), so I guess I had a good time with it? These kits are really great. I'm glad to have a place to talk about them! Thanks, Kurona!

If any of you get the upcoming Amazing Mighty Kuuga, please, show it off. It's my favorite form of my favorite Rider, and MAN do the promo pics make it look great. Still waiting for reviews of Mighty Form to happen, since the promo pics for that weren't exactly flattering, unfortunately.
EDIT: And just as I say that one pops up in my recommends on YT. Mighty Kuuga looks way better than what the promo pics made him look. Definitely way better than the original Figuart, so if any Kuuga fans out there don't want to pay absurd prices for a Kuuga figure, go for this one. Amazing Mighty's on my list! I realised that with RabbitRabbit and Tajador, I was kind of starting to put together a Red-Super-Form-Of-My-Favourite-Rider-Shows display, so I've liked the idea of getting Rising Mighty! Only issue is, he's looking pretty expensive to get...
You're very welcome Fish! Though I admit I find it kinda funny that half your kits are from shows you haven't seen yet

I kid, but yeah, assuming Figure-Rise has all of the Rising Forms be spare parts, it makes me wonder what extra parts are going to come with what. Like, will Rising Pegasus parts come with Growing Form, for example? |

It, uh, it makes doing the kits a little bit harder, that's for sure. Doing Ex-Aid or the Double kits, I had a sense of how it was all supposed to look in the end, so sticker application and limb construction was something I felt confident with. The Zi-O boys and Kabuto, there was a fair amount of looking at the box, making sure I got it right. I guess I just like building the kits so much I don't care who they're of? Slap that quote on the boxes, Bandai!

I remember being so hype when they practically announced that they're doing all the Heisei riders that I doodled a potential Figure-Rise Decade. One of my wanted features was an optional rubber belt so you can fidget it into the other riders' waists. Still trying to figure out how to paint and customize my FRS Build into his Hazard form or base Cross-Z. I really do like the customs that JP Twitter makes using the kits. Like, SAH Zero-One here. Or MCH Zero-One. |

Come to think of it, Decade would have quite a few accessories to come with. His Neo Decadriver, all three forms of the Ride Booker, his cards...
