Ah, a Dino Force Brave/Kyoryuger Brave nod. Some additional info did say he left his agency because something happened and was left all alone as a result. Also, he's supposedly a mastermind type but his confidence sometimes gets him into trouble.

Additional info did reveal he was raised in a strict family and said "eff this ish im out" and left home the moment he encountered Tega Sword, so I think it's just personal devotion rather than him being part of a group of people in robes who worship the morpher. Also, did you notice he's the next ranger to wear glasses since Tsuyoshi/Kiji Brother? He's gotta be Tsuyoshi MkII but instead of marriage issues and getting yelled at by his work boss his whole schtick will revolve around Tega Sword.
Speaking of which, wouldn't it be crazy if Yuuta Mochizuki appears as his strict dad?

The transformation is kind of neat, simple overall but there's a few clever twists like the arms being formed differently. The hollow upper legs with what appears to be a translucent part inside seems like a breaking hazard though, and I really don't think it's worth the massive loss of articulation even compared to Boondorio, let alone King-Ohger

Happy to see Toei continues to dip into 01familia agency (Momotsuki Nashiko/Yodonna, Angela Mei/Reika/Sabera) regularly for female cast. The executive Bouquet is played by Marupi (who already played in a Yodonna spin-off btw).

Yeah, I could see him eventually growing close with his fellow dysfunctional teammates, receiving the social acceptance and camaraderie he couldn't find in work. Like a lonely wolf finding his pack.

I suppose glasses-wearing Rangers do have a pattern of being clingy weirdos and based on the rest of his outfit, he looks like he'll continue that. I'm curious to find out if his Tega Sword religion is more like a small cult he started himself or an actual secret religion that he joined after learning about Tega Sword.

If she had succeeded in becoming a cop, then we would've had 2 cop Black Rangers in a row and the fourth overall. I imagine she'll have an interaction with Jyo when the inevitable crossover comes.
