A summer movie arc is not that bad compared to this Legend "arc". At least, a summer movie is usually consistent with the internal logic of the series. This Legend "arc", on the other hand, abruptly changed the direction of the show from a regular show to an anniversary show using the pArAlLeL wOrLd trope as a very convenient excuse. Since when Kamen Rider Gotchard has become an anniversary show? Since KR Legend appeared, apparently. It's just a bad narrative move.
The problem with KR Gotchard is that the side content (KR Legend spin-off) is infecting the main storyline. And the bigger problem is that KR Gotchard's main storyline is not only infected by KR Legend, but also by the crappiest of the crappiest of the crappiest side contents: KR Outsiders. Main content should be left as main content. Side content should be left as side content. Canon stories should be left as canon stories. Non-canon stories should be left as non-canon stories. Regular series should be left as regular series. Anniversary series should be left as anniversary series. Abruptly transforming a regular series into an anniversary series just to advertise a new toy is one of the weirdest decisions I've ever seen in TV production. Let's hope that this Legend "arc" is just a 2-parter filler episodes that began in episode 32 and ends in episode 33. If it continues for several more episodes, then Gotchard's story is definitely screwed up by the producers/writers themselves. You came to a thread about the newest series to trash it and curse at it without elaborating your reasoning. You even trashed other people who were talking about the newest series. You must be a Geats/Yuuya cultist. I stand by my statement and do not have to explain to anyone why I dislike a kids show. And the show sucks so bad they are struggling to keep interest afloat Last edited by DH21965; 04-29-2024 at 06:37 AM.. |

WOW lol I did not ?trash and curse at it? are you high? I said you guys have nerves of steel to make it through this muddle of a series, which most fandom agrees it is. Sorry if you don?t like my opinions, kinda funny to me.

I'll admit it: Gotchard is probably the most I've consistently enjoyed a Kamen Rider show since at least the back half of Saber. It's not like the second coming of W or something, in terms of quality, but I'm having a lot more fun with it than I ever did with Revice or Geats.

Crossover/multiverse time (haven't watched Outsiders yet), albeit there's some progression in main story like Lachesis' deal.
The main focus is the fight for Legend Kamen Riser, Kaguya's superweapon, which is being hunted by the Hundreds, led by Alpha. Alpha's appearance reminds me of Woz due to the hair and multiverse theme. The Hundred's Kasshin army appears tougher than the usual mooks, although they don't perform any better Lachesis and the other Dark Sisters are homunculi, similar to Malice Dolls. The others, particularly Kyoka, wish to turn Lachesis into a human, to give her hopes and dreams, using a creepy-sounding approach to check every part of her. This also reminds me of Daishinji checking on Yuri. Though if making her human is meant to tame Lachesis and turn them good, human traits aren't always good, something like hurting, killing, or violating are also being human even if horrific one. Being good isn't about which species, but about good actions, homunculi rights can be advocated like Chemies. For now Lachesis still looks down on goodness like Rinne's vow to help Atropos. It's expected that despite Clotho's hostility, Houtaro consistently helped and showed concern for her, as traditional heroes, which main Riders usually are, would strive to help anyone. He also tried to reach out to her. Houtaro's clearly less refined in fighting compared to Clotho, although he can at least dodge, and his arm seems fine when Clotho kicks it at the end. Quote:
There's a good parallel to Lachesis, in exploring the limits of their revealed nature as homunculus dolls, or as Houtarou says, homu-homa-homo-what-us. Clotho cannot handle the power of Dread Type 3 like the human Geryon could, while Lachesis speculates that their lack of humanity is a limit to their personal development as well. Kyoka therefore enthusiastically volunteers to, uh, examine Lachesis' body, in order to find a way to turn the Dark Sisters human. Kudos to Rinne (haha, get it?), since even after the recent attempt to ruin her life once more, she still wants to help Atropos. If only Atropos can be convinced to see the error of her ways, then the Dark Sisters can finally be reunited and not have to live in fear or loneliness all the time. Even Spanner seems pretty supportive of this plan, despite his protest from before about trusting the Dark Sisters.

If you're into this as well as giving a benefit of the doubt for Hijiri's older brother (which I disagree) then what differentiates villains' harming (including Clotho above for kicking Houtaro's arm) to something like Tacchan breaking up with Yua? That he doesn't deserve a second chance where you'd think otherwise for the Dark Sisters? Where regarding consequences, if their opponents are too lenient on the villains it'd make them free from consequences and doesn't actually give justice/fairness that they pretty much get away scot free (moreso if they redeemed) and are being 'spoiled' for still receiving all help and love without having to make an effort to rightfully earn it.
The Dark Sisters actually have redeeming qualities. Lachesis being the most obvious example, since she helped the Kitchen Ichinose Alliance to get in to Ouroboros World to confront Geryon in Episode 27 and she continues to be an asset to Kyoka's research and in combat as the new Valvarad. Even Clotho's kick can be considered a sign of rival respect, since Houtarou is strong enough to take it and Clotho talks more highly of Houtarou in a future interaction with Gigist. Like you said, Atropos is the most callous of the three, but I'll believe in Rinne's judgment that she can also be made to see the error of her ways.

Tatchan's apology to Yua was totally insincere and showed that he had no respect for her. He dumped her when he got bored and then expected her to take him back just by asking politely, like, no way, that dude needed a reality check. Yua doesn't owe him anything anymore and his only hope now is that he can learn to treat his next gf better. Furthermore, this is the same guy who put pressure on Manabe to change his dinosaur story in the X-Rex arc, so he's not exactly a nice person.
