Indigo League also has 82 episodes. I'm half finished on it so given Indigo I'll start the first Rider.
MMPR I has 60 episodes so 34 more is no big deal. The longest Ranger series seen from Toei was 53 with Kaku. Longest Toku I've watched so far.

I’m currently re-watching Kamen Rider W’s summer movie through Toei’s Tokusatsu World Official YouTube channel. I also watched the first Kamen Rider Black movie again through there just last week.

I hope the Rider shows don't get blocked by Shout Factory. I may be able to soon resume from Rider #1 if that's the case. I saw the first ever Rider episode. Want to resume from episode 2.

I've started watching Kamen Rider Build. Currently watched up through episode 14 as well as the Heisei Generations Final movie.
And I'm just gonna be upfront about it, I feel like this ain't the show for me. The main issue I have is that not once has the show given me a real reason to care about anything going on. Like, it has this big dramatic plot going on, but never once has it given me a chance to get to know the setting, the characters, none of that. It just threw me into this world I know very little about with people whom I barely know and so far don't have any big traits for me to connect with. It's not like, say, Blade, where I was dropped into a world so crazy it made me excited to know more and figure things out. Instead, this first arc for Build is more akin to the first quarter of Ghost, wherein the pacing is so off-putting and the characterization is so thin that I just can't work up a reason to root for much of anyone, let alone look forward to seeing them on screen. Things like the death of Ryuga's' girlfriend and the twist about the Owner would've probably made for great stuff... if I had at all known anything or cared about the people involved at the time in which these things happen. Ontop of that, many a plot element doesn't make sense to me, especially given the show's' penchant for telling and not showing. We're told that the Sky Wall is this big deal, but outside of just being a gigantic literal metaphor, it really doesn't serve too much of a purpose outside of providing the Nebula Gas, especially given that the wall and the gas itself are easily avoiding or circumvented. We're told that Sento is this selfless hero, but whenever he's on screen he mainly just acts like a condescending jerk and alot of his more heroic traits/moments are simply delivered secondhand by other characters. We're told that Ryuga is a selfish douche who doesn't qualify as a hero(especially in HeiGen Final) despite him probably being the most sympathetic and kind character in the show so far. Add on that none of the action is really doing anything for me and that I find that most of the comedy really falls flat, and this show really isn't giving me much to work with. It has its moments, sure, but nothing to really help carry me through. Heck, Decade atleast had Diend. It overall feels like a show that cares alot more about its plot than its characters, and that just ain't me. Like, I'll still finish it, because if I can make it through Decade then I can make it through anything that Kamen Rider has to throw at me, but I'm sorry to say that so far I'm really not seeing where alot of the love this show gets comes from.

I would still advise not to be so categorical, because Build no doubt has its strengths. Especially when it comes to the plot. The local main villain is one of the best and smartest in the franchise, and also extremely active, as for the final boss. As for Sento, I find him quite cute, especially when compared to Tendo and Tsukasa. Plus, his passphrase is awesome:
Again, alot of his alleged more positive traits are delivered secondhand rather than him actually showing any of those positive traits to the people who matter or even to the audience. And half the time rather than using smarts to get out of a situation or to communicate with people, he typically just opts for brute force or relying on Misora's' simps for info. Probably the most messed up thing was the episode where it's implied that he wrote the letter from Ryuga's' dead girlfriend to try and get Ryuga to be more "heroic." Like, people give Sogo from Zi-O crap for being manipulative. This is way worse.

Sento's selfless acts are for example, taking in Banjou and believing in him, he's the very reason Banjou ends up in the cast. There's also how he treats Haruka in ep. 4. But just like the walls, some of the next few parts will emphasize that more. Banjou's selfish traits is shown in him complaining when others don't focus to help him clear his name or reverting Tatsuya into Smash to go after Night Rogue.

Blood Stalk has certainly been entertaining, but not enough to really keep me super hooked. And while he hasn't even come close to Tsukasa levels for me, my big issues with Sento are that he comes across as a condescending prick alot of the time and that I find him to be a poorly written "smart guy" character.

He is the most frank with everyone and even his uncle cannot really lie! |
