More like amplifying than straight-up corruption, I think. The way I see it, Sentai Rings are like the nitrous oxide boost for a souped-up car for a lack of comparison. They merely feed and boost the desires of the Universe Warriors who wield them, the end result is strictly on them, maybe?

Another fun fact, Kinjiro being pissed off at the way his opponent speaks is a nod to the supplementary special, where it's revealed that he dislikes caretakers who baby talk.

In my opinion, the biggest plus of this episode is how it, without breaking away from the action and the story, reveals the characters' personalities. This is especially noticeable against the background of the previous one, which was very good, but completely focused on the guest character. Here, of course, the focus is on Ryuga, who reveals himself not only as a fan of Tega Sword. But Hoeru also gets his share of attention, breaking the rules in his typical manner and thus revealing the true essence of the topic. True, it is Ryuga who describes it in words, because Hoeru also has difficulties in conveying his thoughts to others. And then there are the little things, like what exactly makes Kinjiro angry. And the demonstration that Rikuo and Sumino have become a great team, which will clearly play out in the future, as well as the fact that Kuon decides to use Bouquet's fanaticism. The appearance of Knife and Cake in the battle can also be considered a plus. The only thing missing is Candle, but the announcement showed that he will appear in the next episode. We also get a full reveal of Shoko and Ryuga's story, which was more in the background of the confrontation with No-One Manners. I like it, although after the previous couple of episodes there is a feeling of lowering the stakes. I also feel like the show has found its style and entered the so-called filler phase. Although who knows when the next big plot shake-up will happen?

Like how the archaeologist has the power to exhume Daizyujin from the graveyard and the beast tamer can tame beasts. The Rings do seem to be tailored to their users' wishes, suggesting that Tega Sword chose them deliberately. I guess it makes sense that they can power up as those wishes become louder, as we already saw how Gozyu Wolf unlocked his Wolf Decalibur in this way. It'll be interesting to see what Bousou Redracer's "reckless safety" looks like.

Cool to see Ryugi win his first No.1 Battle! Similar to the Showa No.1 Battle, I like how this show takes an abstract concept and shows it from a new angle. In the case of the Manner No.1 Battle, it's rude to pester someone for being rude. Of course, some of these faux pas only make sense in Japan, as nobody in the US would sneer at Hoeru for daring to eat his favorite jumbo frank sausage in public. However, the moral is true that manners should exist to uplift society, not oppress them. I was wondering why Hoeru even bothered participating in this one that he clearly sucked at, but then it became clear to both me and Ryugi that he was the only one who could call out Manner No.1's failure and give Ryugi the key to victory. This show is smart.

Well, Sumino already had the Ryusoulger Ring that Tokonatsu let her have for free, but yeah, the Gingaman Ring is the first one she actually earned. Both of them are from Sentai with unique tribe cultures, so maybe she'll get Goseiger next.
