Power Rangers "teenagers with attitude" trope stems from elements of 1980s Sentai, and a lot of problems facing modern Sentai is Power Rangers influence on making it more pre-school kid friendly and dumbing down the mecha combinations for a younger international audience. The circular influence of Sentai-Power Rangers-Sentai is like a snake eating its own tail. It might be best if the two separate for a bit.

Brave, Snipe and Lazer are all way more interesting than Ex-Aid.

Also Kuroto Dan isn't the best part of the show, despite being both great comic relief and initially a fitting villain for the season.

Just gonna second the idea we need better incorporation of the gimmick items into the stories.

I feel like oddly enough Ex-aid and Ghost did this okay, since they only had 10 (11 if we count juju burger) and 15 as the base amount of their collectables, so it wasn't too much. Ghost also had the collectable still matter as the series got deeper into the story, so there's that too.

I just remembered this. I don't like Sakurajima Ichigo, and don't really understand why it is so 'popular'? I mean original Ichigo suit rarely get any love than Sakurajima, and even the Power Up suit was based on Sakurajima.

I would live it if for the 50th anniversary they make another new suit for Ichigo that based on his original look.

I always figured it was the red headed step child for Ichigou's suits.

And I had just thought the powered up suit was just referencing all his suits
