Amiami September haul finally arrived.
Got the reissue of Ultraman Taro and also Eleking. Both real solid releases, Bandai's track record with kaiju has been nearly spotless.

"Finally"
Mine isn't even shipped yet. Yes I know, logistic centre moving, still sucks. Hope this is worth it and it gets better, they have been rather slow ever since the pandemic. But man, Eleking looks so good! Such a fun release. |

And got an order of SHF Upgrade stuff from Tokullectibles.
- LED Geats head - DaPaan head and extra eyes - 2nd scarf for Shin Nigou LED Geats head looks great. No seam lines like on the standard mask, though the eye lense swapping is a bit more haphazard since they clip into place and need to be pressed out from the other side to swap them out. The Dapaan head's the same way. And I do think they could have designed it a bit better, too. Had to do some very small mods since the hole for the mouth plates was tight enough to feel like they were clipping into place. As for the helmet, it pops off the bottom of the head via a peg and hole, though the connection both feels a bit loose and a bit too tight to easily remove it to do eye swaps. Shaved the inner peg down a bit to make it slightly easier to take off. The scarf's what you'd expect. It looks leagues better than the plastic one. Though good luck if you try to do the same neck mod as Ichigo. The construction is apparently way different so popping the neck apart to take the old scarf ring off feels impossible.

Removing the neck ring without cutting it off can be quite annoying and tricky. Here's the procedure that worked for me:
Microwave some water for about 30s. It pretty much needs to be near scalding, so don't hurt yourself. Afterwards, drop the neck piece and let it sit there for another 30 seconds or so. The important part is that you want to get the plastic to be REALLY soft and plilable. To remove the ring, you essentially need to rip the two neck pieces apart. The ring is just sandwiched in place. But the two neck pieces are glued in place at a plug that is on the top joint piece. I suggest you use something flat and durable to start prying these two pieces. I ended up using one of those orange LEGO plate separators. DO NOT use a flathead screwdriver or something metal/sharp, the risk of injury is really high that way So get some separation from the two pieces at the top seam of the ring. I suggest wedging in through the sides of the neck, not through the front or the back. If the plastic is really, really soft, you should be able to get a good grip on the top piece and start ripping it off. It requires some elbow grease, but this maybe the least destructive way to do this. Hopefully this write-up makes sense. I came up with this method through trial and error, and ironically the process went much smoother the first time I did it with the Hongo figure. I think I had forgotten the best procedure when I did Ichimonji, and ended up chewing through too much of the plastic for my taste. That is why I don't recommend wedging the plastic from the back or front of the neck |

Yeah this method works for Ichigo and is what I did. Once you separate the neck parts and take off the scarf ring, you glue the neck back together and tie the scarf around the groove left behind by the ring.

This month was pretty rough on my wallet. Alot of pre-orders came in at once, and I had to ship out a PoL too. Ouch.
I don't really collect Funko Pops(I can count the amount I have on one hand), but since it seems no company wants to make a 6-inch scale figure for the Blue Beetle movie, I went for the only other collectible that exists other than the McFarlane figures. The comic was actually a gift from Kamen Rider Die after he heard how much I liked the movie and that I'd started reading the Jaime Reyes comics. Speaking of Die, me and him also split a Transformers two-pack, as I wanted SG Rodimus due to his connections to Anti from SSSS.Gridman. Meanwhile, Powerlynx Hot Shot came from PulseCon. I actually like both figures for what they are. Sure, they could have a bit more to them, but I'm overall satisfied. Two Switch games to add to the ever increasing backlog. I've been waiting for a long time for the second Detective Pikachu game, as I rather liked the first one. And when it comes to Silent Hope, the art style and story sounded really interesting to me. I just wish it had multiplayer. Both of these multipacks were actually split up between me and some friends. The only figure I took out of all of them was Omega Black. And it was kinda fun for me to sort them out, as I could directly compare older LC bodies to newer ones. While it's certainly come a ways, the figures could still definitely see improvements in a few ways. Multiplayer Sonic sounded really fun to me, so Superstars was a for sure buy for me. Meanwhile the pink and purple lightning effects come from Can of Beams, and like most of their effects, are really fun to use with your figures. While I am not a GI Joe fan by any stretch, I will admit it's one of the best lines for troop builders, and for me, that means I will always try to get the ninjas from the line, as those are my favorite type of troop to build. Same reason I got the NECA TMNT II Foot Solider 2-Pack, even though I don't like that movie nearly as much as the first. Remastered Zack and Rita were for sure Day 1 pre-orders for me, and I love them for the most part. Overall much better than the older figures, especially in the case of Rita, who only loses in the amount of accessories she has compared to the old Wedding 2-Pack. Loved the JADA Toys Ryu, so I for sure had to get the Evil Ryu repaint. Wish the broken sign had pieces that could snap together though, rather than being held together by tape. As for Mezco Green Ranger, I got him way later than everyone else due to a mess up on FedEx's' part, and after finally getting him, I do rather like the figure. Unfortunately, he's 7-inches tall, so while he's not impossible to put next to LC and SHF figures, you'll have to do some dynamic posing to make it look right. The Deapool and Bob 2-Pack was a pleasant surprise. What elevates it for me is the amount of accessories you get, ontop of all of them being rather fun. Wasn't originally planning on keeping Bob around, but now? I think I will. With Gwen over there, their SV-Action line continues to be the best Spider-Verse figures. Sure, the MAFEX is a little better in a few areas, but I overall think Sentinel takes the W here. Just wish the unmasked Gwen heads weren't nightmare inducing. Sucks for Japans' economy, but I'm loving how low the yen exchange rate is right now. Managed to get Clone Goku for a fairly solid price despite having missed the initial pre-order earlier this year. And as for Orange Piccolo, he's decent. Like Beast Gohan though, they didn't make the shirt overlay soft enough, so the torso articulation is really tough to actually get use out of it. Wish they'd go back to the old setup of the segmented torsos/shirts.

Small-ish haul for the month
SMP Dairen-Oh - One of my favorite mechas. The 90s sure felt like peak designs in Sentai. Looking forward to building it later 3" Star Wars - Great assortment from the seller Scorchiis on Instagram. The Kit Fisto figure is particularly sought after and got it at a great price Vintage Collection Star Wars - More modern offerings via BBTS. Really happy Nien Nunb was reiussed, don't have to go aftermarket price on that one. Cad Bane looks great, but the Obi-Wan two-pack is phenomenal And everything else from BBTS - I prefer the Miles suit from his game over the recent one, so got lucky it was being reissued. I really like the sculpt and porportions, but I wish it had more articulation at the abdomen. Should have really included some side-to-side ab tilt. SHF Kid Naruto is a fun figure, I really like how the printing came out on the faces. My only nitpick is I wish it came with a laughing face I'll give a gold star to anyone that knows who Svengoolie is ( Die, I know you know so no cheating )
