The premise of this episode is similar to the last episode of Lap 1, where a dark secret about one of the team is revealed and becomes the source of conflict between them. Bundorio has always been the team's engine of hope and justice, the last person you'd expect to have former affiliation with the Hashiliens, so losing faith in him would've destroyed the team at the heart, so much worse than when they lost faith in the leader Taiya.
It doesn't go the way Disrace wanted though, as Bundorio's honest and apologetic explanation is once more enough to bring them back together. When you listen to his sympathetic story about how he cleared Byundy's name and took the fall for the team, there's no way he can be a bad guy, just someone whose kindness was exploited and he deserves the chance to atone for his mistake. That's why Sakito decided to act as a medium between Bundorio and Byundy, as he's also working hard to wash away the terrible darkness inside himself and doesn't want Bundorio to suffer all alone like he did. Definitely relieved to see the destruction of Disrace after he'd caused so much tragedy on both sides. Each general seems to be more evil and despicable than the last, so we'll have to see what kind of terrible deeds the boss Wyald Spindo will commit to make him the worst of them all, starting with him being the reason for Bundorio losing his license. Genba now has a new goal after finally getting his revenge, to rebuild his father's company. Overall, Lap 3 was mostly a success that gave due focus and development to various characters who needed it. Even including the loser trio who actually managed to drive the Boonboomgers to a near defeat and revived Madwrecks' memories. I think Genba and Sakito especially shined though. Despite its occasional bumps and stalls, the show is generally improving at a steady pace. As it accelerates towards the final arc, I cautiously hope it will park smoothly at the destination.

Yeah, the show is great, the mechs are just terrible though. Like, by far some of the worst in my opinion.
