I tried doing stuff like that with my parents doesn't work really. Instead I just show them basic clips from toku or something I'm a big fan of. When I first showed them what Gaim was and some of the various henshin the riders did, they got a kick out of that. Now they always tease me when they see a fruit in the groccery store
On Friday from a convention I went to, I got HG Barbatos and the HG Full Armor Gundam from Thunderbolt. Working on Barbatos now and I have to say, the Gundam frame bown parts look so cool contrasting with the white parts. |

This arrived today:
We watched the first disc and man those were some damn good episodes. The only truly weak episode I felt was the second one on the disc which had a sea fering boy using the mobile suit that will go on to appear in Turn A. Other than that, this show continues to be so damn good. I really like how they are developing Glemy as he is more than just a normal goon and the stuff that occured in Dakar was awesome. I also did some comparison shots with the Japanese BDs like I did with Volume 1: |

Ayyyy, so has anyone done business with GG Infinite since their website revamp? I'm kinda wanting to pre-order the Premium Bandai HG Blast Impulse from them but I have no clue if they do an imediate card charge or not.

Here's some pictures I took of Barbatos. He looks very different from any of the other HGs I own.

It's more just draining. I'm not really a fan of MGs at all, and I really only got it because it's the least crap Zeta Gundam.

I usually watch stuff on the TV in the living room, and the way our house is designed the downstairs is pretty much just one big room, so both my parents have seen snippets of most of what I watch just out of coincidence. I remember my mom actually thinking the political aspects of 00 were really interesting.

Watched the second disc (well, technically fifth disc) tonight and man these episodes just keep getting better every time. I completely forgot that they killed Kobayashi off. Also, my god, everything that went down in the episodes of Dublin are just down right incredible. Not only does it give Haman the Gundam Badass Seal of Approval, but it also solidifies her as the greatest Gundam villain ever!! Of course, was she was the bad guy or was it the jackasses of the Federation who chose to just let everyone die? And then we had the return of the Psycho Gundam which was AMAZING!! I can't wait to watch the final disc tomorrow as it is going to be grand.

So may I ask what your guys favorite episode of the original series is? I'd say so far from what I've seen it's the episode with the zeon grunts and the attempting to blow up the gundam. The episode really did humanize those grunts that you'd never really think about, showing that they have wants and desires of their own. It had Amuro being his selfless self. i Just love that scene where the zeon troops roll up to the whitebase and give them their regards and saying they're doing a good job and stuff showed that there was a respect for the enemy side.
