She in fact only has different forearms, which was necessary due to her bangles. I'm glad that otherwise she's not being forced to have different proportions

Yikes SO-DO prices are seriously getting out of hand! Especially those P-Bandai ones, which it seems Chronicle puts more than half of their set into.

I'm not sure if I've said this here before, but Preban sets really take the joy out of SHODO collecting for me. Like, a big part of the appeal is that I can just hop onto manda and get one for around 200-400 yen, MAYBE 600-800 aside from some characters that have tragically shot up like Blade and Ichigo; or I can order a full set off AmiAmi and sell off the ones I don't want.
It's how cheap and easy it is, basically; how easy it is to add on to an order and just how much value I get for so little money. So it completely goes against the point for me when I see like... a set of 3 figures (with admittedly amazing paint applications and something accessories! not denying they used the budget well!) for 8000-10,000 Yen and it's a limited release? For a fair few of them it's definitely the only way some of them were getting done, for sure, but it's especially a drag to see it for more important figures like Blade King and W Xtreme and Terror. Maybe that's just my personal experience, but like... I just bought Super-1, his accessory box and Great Leader off of manda for a grand total of 1000 yen, and I can't ever imagine wanting to pay about 7-10 times that for the same amount of stuff, you know?

I can't lie, I'm very scared of SHODO Tajador Eternity being preban too; particularly because they'd probably see those paint applications and instantly move it there (not entirely unjustified). And that figure was kinda one of my biggest hopes from SHODO OOO haha

Also, there was news on the next Chodo Alpha wave the other day -- Ultraman, Zetton, Glitter Trigger and Celebro-possessed Z (there is tragically no alternate normal Z head). This marks by the by the first Showa figure in Alpha and the first Kaiju. All that and a figure they're keeping secret till later -- no hints to what it is yet. Given the secrecy I think it could be Decker's final form but we'll have to wait and see

Posting this for future reference, SO-DO Chronicle Kabuto wave 1 instructions:
https://www.bandai.co.jp/candy/pdf/g...0819912000.pdf Why? Because the toys don't include them. Many of Bandai's 15 and up candy toys have moved the instructions online. It makes since for many of them. Shodo and Chodo all go together the same way. G-Frame is more involved, but put one together and they're mostly the same from there. However, none of those lines have stickers and that seems like poor choice not to include sticker instructions. That said, take a look at those new instructions, they are quite nice. Big and very clear with pictures of the toys themselves in color. Even has color coded directions with them being named in English (nothing else is in English, but still). Very nice. Edit: Well, never mind. I managed to randomly figure it out. No one would ever think to look on the store page for each item. It's such a dumb place to put them.

This week's blog is all about the Bear Necessities.
So yeah, Shirowe is in ID3 and surprisingly has a different mask mold from Da-Paan. Just to be clear, Shirowe is a separate figure, not just a bonus mask. The Arrow buckle isn't ready yet, so they spent a lot of the blog having him "borrow" Zamonas's crossbow. Behold the true potential of Entry Form: OC Riders are just a head swap away. |

Bandai updated the product page for DonBrothers YU-DO 2 with pictures of the complete wave. There's only 4 figures and in a first since Kyuranger, there's no henchmen.
https://www.bandai.co.jp/candy/produ...836735000.html On another note, if you had a hard time preordering SO-DO Geats ID1, HLJ now has it in stock. https://www.hlj.com/sodo-kamen-rider...4pcs-bann83671 Also PonTV put up their video for ID1. The exhaust stickers for Boost do not look fun. Last edited by Blade Raider; 10-03-2022 at 12:56 PM.. |
