Did your Godzilla Criterion set have issues with the glue sticking to the discs?

And respect for the Daimajin set. Arrow video is pretty great. Most of my collection is in storage, but I fished this out, because I don?t know if people will be thinking about this: the Yokai Monsters set from Arrow Video. I watched these movies last year and it was a lot of fun. I?m sure these sort of goofy old movies aren?t for everyone, but I thought they were great. Pretty fun Miike movie put in with the set too. |

Overall I would recommend the Yokai Monsters box set. But I barely remember anything about the movies. I just remember having a good time watching them last year around October whenever the set came out.
I think I liked that 2005 movie the best though. So if you did not like that one, maybe my recommendation would not work for you. I was watching a bunch of Japanese movies from the 60s last year too, so my tastes were probably all messed up back then. I think I paid $80 for it back in October 2021, and I would do it again too, but it?s like $50 now. I don?t want anyone to waste their money, though. If you gave the 2005 film a shot and did not like it, then it might be wise to pass on the set. |

Oh man. Get that shaw brothers set. There’s like a 30 minute long fight in one of those films that begins with the main character getting an axe embedded in his chest and it does not slow him down at all. Absolutely incredible films.
