Hey guys, I'm a newbie of this site. My first topic is that I would like to share my own fixing of Kamen Rider Revice series. It's sad that this series has good potenitals, good actors, only to get fall off so much... Really shame...
So I want to share with you guys my fixing stuff to the series. Be warned, I'm not an experienced writer or something like that, but I will try my best to make better. What are your thoughts, reactions, feedbacks to this? Feel free to ask me anytime! Thanks! The downfall started after episode 28, so let's see what to fix and change... I think I will keep 29, 30, 31 almost the same but little hints for futures: Kagerou returning, Sakura potentials, George's madness,... * Ep 32 - 47: I'm sorry that I can't fix each episode individually, it feels frustrating and hard. So I will make the main points and arcs here for you to understand. - Explain more Aguilera's past (why she was chosen, her interaction with Giff childhood). She is jealous of Sakura (they have a nice family) and they fought evenly. Sakura listens to advice from Ikki, Tamaki, Weekend and bonds with Lovekov, gets her new form to free Aguilera. And Tamaki persuades a grown man that she can become like him, Aguilera will go along with them with her unknown intentions,... During the fight, Vail appears to make Sakura suffer to get revenge on Genta. Ikki comes to stop him, Vail has manipulate something to Vice... - Akaishi and Giff in the dark recruit more high status members in Fenix and outside, spreading the corruption further. Akemi grows suspicious and investigates, only to become Giff's servant by Akaishi in secret. Kagerou begins haunting Daij like in dreams, struggling him. Daiji still follow his blinding justice but begins to struggle in his own belief, he will fight monsters but not get beaten up in TV series, he fights with anger and confusion. Hiromi begins to return and George secretly develops something for his plans... (He will meet his father sooner...) - Aguilera and Tamaki stay at Happy Spa, interact with Yukimi. Sakura will fight monsters, furthering her bond with Lovekov. Ikki visits his brothers and sisters, found them have grown up. He interacts with Vice, while Vice grows very suspicious (explain the hints of Ikki's lost memories). In Akaishi's speech, Fenix base destruction and world devastation, Igarashi comes to stop him but fails, but two new Riders appear: Over Demons and Aguilera. Weekend has begin their plan to increase powers... - Weekend gives Aguilera Weekend Driver (the execution will not be the same on TV), George gives Hikaru Demon Driver and he gives them to Tamaki. Hikaru feels he's not worthy enough to be a watcher to keep Sakura and her relatives safe. Akaishi mocks Aguilera but she said she has a new purpose but she didn't reveal it completely. Hiromi meets with George and plans to save Daiji and Akemi... Before this, he alrealdy saves lots of Fenix members and they will join Weekend later on because George told him everything. - Over Demons and Aguilera will have missions to eliminate and save some high status members of Giff's army to weaken them. Sakura tagged along with the two girls slowly understand each other, meaning to get stronger, Tamaki also develops more... Vail also gets involved, And Kagerou haunts Daiji again, Daiji slowly accepts the dark power of his demons. Genta with his friend appear to meet with his family and even Masumi, talking about mistakes in the past. George has almost completed his driver... - Hiromi meets with Daiji and the two plan to save Akemi, even recruiting Ikki and Sakura, but accidents happen. Akemi died, Daiji blames Ikki almost like in TV and leaves, follow his own way to justice (you can think that he will side with Akaishi from now). Hiromi said will keep an eye on Daiji. At this point Daiji understands Kagerou more, and begins his evolution. He even destroys monsters instantly... - Genta agrees to have operations to create Giffard Vistamp with the help of George and Masumi. Ikki first disagrees, but he agrees. The Riders: Ikki, Sakura, Aguilera, Tamaki and even Hiromi protect the operation from Vail and Giff's huge army. Every Riders wrecks everything with their powers. During the battle, Ikki got untransformed because Vice was corrupted with Vail's power from Akaishi and Giff. When Vice is about to finish Ikki, luckily the Giffard Vistamp is complete, Hikaru throws it to Ikki, Vice turns to normal and the two become Ultimate, creating clones destroying everything with extra firepower from Riders. (The Riders will not get overwhelmed like in TV, instead on stalemate). - Weekend announced their true plans (establish order and peace to the world free from demons by forces and tyranny, almost like Zein). This created conflicts among the group, Hikaru's mother died during this, allow Giff's army slowly gets the tide. Even worse, George with his new Rider and Demon Troopers comes to challenge everyone and Giff. He declares he will uses the power from humanity's mind will destroy everything related to Giff. He has got insane due to his desire to ultimate power, want to surpass his father, his toxic fanboy and his demons. Because the power balance is in favor for Weekend, George made his moves now, his power is on pair with Ultimate Revice, he creates Demon Army to balance the power shift and keeping his strength fighting Ikki, Akaishi and Giff. - Hikaru's dad died along the way. Ikki thinks what should be done, Vice talks with him what he thinks is the best, something like that, Ikki begins to SOLO. He battles with Fenix, Weekend, Giff, Juuga. Hiromi is always sides with Ikki, and Aguilera later on. Eventually, everyone comes to Ikki's side and Hikaru becomes Demon Troopers, leading forces of Troopers with guidance from Hiromi. Hiromi and Hikaru will have the relation like Peter Parker and Miles Morales. With the help of Masumi, Genta becomes Destream settles things with Veil, Vail gives Genta new powers to help Genta to defeat Giff. George is involved and starts to get frustrated. - Sakura during all of this begins to realize her way to get stronger is the determination to get invincible, the hints of her getting final form from the rival of Aguilera and bonds with Lovekov, she unties her soul with Lovekov. And Daiji will slowly thought his decisions during the conflicts with Kagerou talking, haunting and even guiding. When he fights with Hiromi, Daiji understands and accepts his demons, awakens his final form and joins Ikki (Daiji will not points his gun toward his family, he punches Ikki and huge arguement). Ikki manages to beat George and George realizes his error, and makes peace with his father. (The setting and acting will almost the same as TV). - The final battle with Giff: + After everyone had the last meal, Ultimate Revice, Evility Live, Invincible Jeanne, Demons, Over Demons, Aguilera, Destream, Juuga and legions of Demon Troopers fought Giff and Akaishi's full army. Ikki infused everyone with Giffard powers. At first, Live and Demons beat Akaishi. Giff kills him because he has fulfilled the doom of the world. Giff corrupts Vice temporarily but Destream using his new power with Revice managed to free Vice. + Aguilera interacts with Giff about her life. Giff mocks her just like other food he eats and have no love or even related, a tool for his first failed revival and she want to become stronger to meet his requirement, only to get swapped away and left for nothing. She announced her divorce with Giff and stood with her new true family, after clearing thoughts about what is the true family and bonding. Every Riders fought with all, but Giff proved too much challenges for the heroes, Aguilera sacrificed herself with her powers infused with her kunais. Giff was still strong but weakened enough for the Igarashi and everyone unleashed all their have left to defeat him. It was hard... + Giff is killed for good... After this, Ikki lost his memories and leaves with Vice like the TV, slowly gets strange throught the event of the movie... But through unexplainable reasons, Aguilera and even Orteca is alive, perhaps fate itself denied their death, a chance to atone or commit evil... Orteca is captured and everyone with Ikki before left celebrates a victory party. After the party, Masumi peacefully died from George's arms... * Ep 48 - 50: - Ikki have got insane, wearing a suit and smiling evil like the opening, turning out he was being affected by Giff's remaining powers. Orteca laughing like crazy, wanting Ikki to destroying everything because the high price for saving the world. Ikki causes all troubles, everyone tried to stop him, but to no avail. Vice decides to solve it once and for all. They fight evenly, finally Vice manages to free Ikki from madness, they talking and playing, Vice even remind the eating Yukimi part (The ending will almost be the same on TV). - Hiromi himself establishes Blue Bird with Daiji and George, Hikaru from the remnants of Fenix, Weekend. Aguilera and Tamaki go to prison and due to Blue Bird gains access to deal authorities law with them so they gets like under authority of Blue Bird and they become detectives working with Blue Bird to track down Giff's remaining army and cultist still lurking around and new dark forces. Daiji and others, even Ikki will apologize to the public and claim they will prove themself full responsibilities (Because Ikki was solo everything during the conflicts and the key point to defeating Giff, plus he fixs others troubles during the series and this point too but off-screen, he didn't get much controversy. About others, public decide to get them a chance after hearing they save the world and efforts to save during the conflicts). Sakura will become a doctor saving everyone, the Igarashi family being together again, Ikki didn't throw Vice ducks in trash can, he will keeps it as something meaningful to him... * Extra: Ikki meets God Ace with Lovekov, she is curious about that loot box... (I was gonna make a special about this plot like Ace using Revice buckle to defeat some Jyamantos, suddenly he get the strange feelings from that buckle... maybe from the influence of Revice power that connect to Vice but Ace doesn't get it yet until the event of crossover). Sorry for the post being too long, I want to explain things better. What do you guys think about this fix? I have to cut off too many points and some errors might appear, if you found it feel free to contact me. I'm not an experienced writer or anything like that, but I will try my best to fix the series to make it worth watching and don't deserve the hate it gets. Very interesting and you are heading in the right direction. Of course, it’s difficult to judge from a textual retelling, but the most important thing, in my opinion, is in your version:
- George comes to the role of the villain more gradually and does not look like an appendix from the draft; - Giff is a truly difficult and strong opponent; - Igarashi's interactions with their demons are given more emphasis and are more personal. - Well, Daiji isn’t annoying either If criticism is needed, maybe Orteca's role in the show's finale should be expanded? It always seemed strange to me that he was actually resurrected and none of the post-content convinced me that this was really necessary. |

Edit: I would also to make clear that Hikaru's mom died fighting Giff's army during George's madness, he challenges the heroes and even Giff, so the battle was getting intensed. Hikaru's dad being killed by Akaishi, almost same as TV, but removes the picture things, he just said at least he can joins his family for now. This makes Hikaru grows more as a person, he also gets guidance from Hiromi, Sakura, Tamaki and Ikki. He will managed to get some Demon Troopers to side on and later joins Ikki. The moment Genta defeats Vail is the sign that everyone joins Ikki's side. Last edited by Darth Kalacius; 05-08-2024 at 09:35 AM.. |

Next things are the movie and spin-off. There are some good and bad points on these, so let's go along then...
- Birth Of Chimera: Maybe I'll start this movie in the period when George starts going crazy before the Fenix base is destroyed * He wanted to surpass his father, without demonic power, so he created the Chimera Driver, but henshin failed, so he stored it and took advantage of the above experiences and the data he collected so far to create the Juuga Driver. * Chic in special will appear secretly, stealing Driver and Vistamp. George was too focused on hardcore creating the Juuga system, he also considered creating an army of Demon Troopers to help his plans. After everything is done, he will personally wipe all Drivers with demonic powers. * Throughout the TV series, Chic will also observe the situation in his favor, and will cooperate with Azuma, who began monitoring the situation after the Fenix base was destroyed and the Ultimate Revice went into battle. He was supposed to join Giff when Weekend was stronger, but Chic persuaded and with George's downfall, at this time Giff's side also recovered its strength so they waited for the opportunity to rise and gradually build up their forces. The rest will be the same as the TV series, but takes place after episode 47. - Battle Familia: After 47, probably almost the same as in the movie but changes like: * Ikki had now lost his memory so he left with Vice like TV, so only Daiji and Sakura saw their parents off on the plane. The situation on the plane is the same, but the Chimera boy will silently monitor the situation and not communicate with the two people. At this time, Daiji and Sakura contacted Vice to convince Ikki and he agreed, plus he wanted to understand his family better. * The episode of the Igarashi brothers rescuing their parents will remain the same, at this moment Ikki feels something really warm. The 3 people confront their demonic minds because Azuma is corrupted, tortured and imprisoned. Yukimi, like a TV, suddenly awakens as an angel after witnessing her children's suffering. At this time, the Chimera boy will steal the Chimera Driver, causing chaos and creating a chance for the whole family to escape. Genta transforms into Destream. Details of Kamen Rider Igarashi's debut will be similar to the movie. The boy also defeated several high-ranking monsters on Azuma's side, until Azuma appeared to punish him, took him hostage and threatened Genta, but Ace appeared to stop him like TV. * The rest is quite similar to the movie, except Orteca does NOT appear here, there will be no Chimera Driver, only Aguilera and Tamaki DO NOT WEAR Deadman costumes, they are here to help defeat high-level monsters and due to Hiromi and George, they were in prison at this time. Destream also participated. Juuga also appeared to beat the demon Chic and conquer him. * Igarashi overwhelms Azuma, until Azuma questions their reason for placing faith in humanity. Ikki, having experienced everything at this time, also understood his brothers and parents, along with his experiences up until now, and explained to Azuma. He decided to fight Ikki 1 on 1. The two fought equally, completely different from the movie, Ultimate Vs Azuma. Ikki won, Azuma was happy to understand and disappear, but before disappearing, he realized that Ikki had a problem, hinting at the last 3 TV episodes of Ikki going crazy... The rest is the same. Plus, Ikki goes crazy later on, so the Igarashi form won't have a role in the final 3 episodes. Review Forward 1: Live, Demons and Evil: Changed and corrected some details in the movie: * Have Hiromi have a deeper conversation with Rumi. Cut completely to the scene where Sakura, Aguilera (not recognizing Hana Natsuki's name) and even Tamaki mistakenly trust fake Hiromi, instead the three of them were suspicious from the beginning, asked a few familiar questions that only real Hiromi could answer, Muramasa beats them by his sword, then led Rumi away, Hiromi followed, telling the three of them the situation. * Kagerou abandoned Daiji like the movie, Daiji set a smarter trap this time, pretending to return the hostages but actually ambushed them with a few Demon Troopers and Hikaru, to capture them. Muramasa suddenly appeared with overwhelming power, distracting Daiji. The enemy had the opportunity to fight back, causing Daiji to lose his Driver. Daiji doesn't know if it's really Hiromi right now, because Muramasa acts too much like Hiromi, maybe he learned from the experience of confronting the previous three people, and his hairstyle is 100% identical. * The remaining details are the same as in the movie, except Daiji worked with George to create a new Vistamp, Muramasa exploited it better: he wanted to become a real person like Hiromi. The two fought and began to acknowledge each other, until the final Boss finished off Muramasa and absorbed his power. The battle due to Muramasa's awareness and his absorbed powers makes the chance to separate Rumi easier and causes the 2 Riders to use the finishing attack. During the fight, Hiromi used Vistamp Chamaelon to connect with Muramasa, causing this to happen. In addition, Rumi's ability disappears, creating a catalyst that causes Hiromi's body to gradually become younger, with a hint of Muramasa cells residing in the image... * Note: Wow, this might be the longest post I've ever done, I'm really sorry that I have to explain plot points to explain better. Of course there will be errors in the process, so if anyone has suggestions, feel free to contact me. Last edited by Darth Kalacius; 06-25-2024 at 03:28 AM.. |

But simple stuff like actually using Evil Ikki from the OP and giving Tamaki the respect he deserves are both good points that I agree with.

Thanks! Sorry for not reply sooner. Yeah about the Deadman trio I feel like no senses as all, they have been accepted their sins and begins their new life, it feels strange to have them appear like this. Even Orteca would never accept this, because he knows he would be captured again, and off-screen he kinda plans how to escape.
I was going for alternate road for this series, but like you said, it will fall off the current narative of the story, so I was implements things that should happen or expand for everyone to have their role play smoothly. Oh Tamaki fought like a beast during all of this, just like his anger from his friend's demise Also, any other things you find like lacking and unexplained during this? |

There's no way to really fix Revice, as the mess it ended up as was thanks to the slew of poor decisions made at nearly every turn.
Despite being a fan favorite (Myself included), Hiromi encapsulates a lot of their indecisiveness.
Hiromi is just a microcosm of the show's problems. You then have the likes of Vice laughing in a menacing manner when he first sees Ikki's memories disappearing, but acting remorseful the next time it's brought up. Aguilera's obsession with Sakura literally appearing out of nowhere after a single minor interaction with each other. The entirety of the Over Demons controversy, and so on. Making a minor change at the start of the series would have massive ripples throughout the rest, making "Fixing" the show pretty much impossible

If I have to change everything, it will no longer be Revice, it's something else strange and unfamiliar. Last edited by Darth Kalacius; 05-19-2024 at 08:04 PM.. |
