Perhaps the explosions are in reference to the process a combustion engine uses to create energy

Car/Vehicular themes + lots of explosions/shootings theme. As I've mentioned before, maybe a military vehicles theme? Like tanks and army jeeps and fighter jets and helicopters?

The expression ブンブン does seem to be used as the Japanese equivalent of vroom vroom.
