Heisei novels being adapted in this way sounds like a fun idea, but then again...if what I read about the Faiz novel is accurate it basically involves Kaixa coming back from the dead to rape the main female protagonist. I haven't even seen Faiz but no, no thanks. No thanks even a little.
And the one for Blade sounds depressing. Who Knows. Jimber Dragon Arms, on the other hand, I could get behind... |

No. No, I wouldn't. I don't feel like there would be anything to gain from abandoning live action for animation (unless you really love special attack stock footage).

But that would only be if they tried to make it a generic shounen anime.

^Funny seeing I remember my cousin told me that watching the first few episodes of OOO felt like that he was watching a live action Shonen Jump anime show.

Yeah, it'd be nice if we got OVAs of the novels. They can still stay separate form the Rider canon, but it gives the freedom to do different things and not be restricted by only bringing past Riders back for Super Hero Taisens.

Personally I have never been that big into the idea of turning toku into anime. I have always thought part of the appeal of toku was to see real people doing all of stunts. When you can just draw what every kind of action scene. It loses some of the impact for me.

We had several anime based on Toku before. Some of them are good (Iria, Garo and Kikaider in my opinion). I don't mind anime adaptions of Toku if they are done right.

Seeing OVAs of the novels would be good, means we'd finally be able to know what's in those stories without learning Japanese

I mean, this show was pretty cool up until it went off the deep end.
