What surprised me most was Suga - caring for the Bitter Gavv? Like that scene with him holding the baby and the seeing the nursery room - huh.

I wonder if at least one Bitter Gavv survived, I think the merchandise showed more Rider forms we haven't seen yet?

Could it not represent Hanto's recent change in perspectives on Granutes, having a Granute made system rather than one by a human, especially seeing as this one was made by Dente, the guy who'll probably walk the isle for Shoma when the choco gummy wedding happens? It could also be a rejection of Suga, no longer using the Valen Buster as a transformation tool like it's intended, similar to how 54 years ago, Takeshi Hongo's cyborg convertion did not get used the way Shocker intended.


Wait fuck typing that made me realize the link between Ichigo and Valen, both got operated on by mad scientists to become something more than human, only difference is instead of a remorseful scientist freeing Hongo, a remorseful scientist just gave Hanto a way to rebel with his newfound power. Huh.

I guess I'm already used to this, since it happened before with Cross-Z Charge. But it seems like you've realized during that paragraph that Valen using yet another evil invention for good is pretty much the most Kamen Rider thing possible for his development. I'm just glad to see the Vrastrum Gear getting more Gochizous.

Looks like Nyelve and Suga might've been more than just clandestine business partners. Suga wanted to create a "savior" strong enough to destroy Granutes, which Nyelve is apparently supportive of and willing to continue. We know that Hanto referred to Shioya as "like a foster father" and that he had moved in with his grandmother after Sae's death, so it sounds like his father died a very long time ago. Either that, or Suga.

Considering how Hanto already accepted a Granute organ inside his body, him using a Granute-made device doesn't seem like a big deal by comparison. I think we'll still see Valen use Chocodon to henshin sometimes, as it's his base form after all. The Frappeis twins are detachable with the top half being compatible with the Red Gavv, so there might even be a tactical reason to do this. Anyway, will Shouma ask Sachika to be best girl at the ChocoGummy wedding?

I think Hanto has more in common with Shirou, due to them both losing family and starting with the motivation of revenge, before deciding to fight for justice after their debut.
