Heroes In A Half-Shell: The TMNT Thread

I looked for a thread like this, but couldn't find much!

With the second Power Rangers/TMNT Crossover in full force, and my own personal interests leaning in this direction, and with stores constantly starting to capitalize on nostalgia with retro card-back figures, this seemed like a good time to share and discuss.

There are also many different iterations, much like Transformers. You also have juxtaposed versions which seesaw between serious and comedic.

If I'm being honest, one of the things that helped inspire this was a series of articles about how certain characters weren't made into figures in the old days!

Various shows and movies exist. Comic licenses have been held by Archie, Mirage, and IDW. They teamed-up with Batman and the aforementioned Teenagers With Attitude!

Hate to say it, but the Power Rangers In Space episode has to be included!

Currently watching TMNT 03.

Admittedly I like it so far and am 5 episodes in.

I saw the 1987 series on DVD recently. I'll finish
2012 after 03 Series VII Back To The Sewer.

The set I have for 03 will give me a chance to
catch up.

As for 2012 I watched most of this on Hulu up
to the Black Hole Generator finale and will
finish 2012 on DVD.

Netflix has Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles Series I so will see most of it.

It seems they might be trying a 2nd time to restart TMNT on the big screen.

They tried once before and it didn't get a 3rd movie.

Maybe they should leave well enough alone.

Next Mutation only lasted 1 series.
