I saw the DS signal in the sky and came as quick as I could!
Not only is this my favorite Ranger of all time, but I was lucky enough that Hasbro made him the best figure in the entire MMPR team. He's got the best variety of accessories, the helmet sculpt is near perfect, and that blast effect, while in no way accurate, is very nice to look at. I just wish the unhelmetted head would've came out better; It doesn't look like Walter Jones at all. Also a shame they didn't paint the red on his morpher, but for me that was a very minor detail that I could fill in myself. Was overall very happy with this release, and outside of what I already pointed out, I think the only other thing that could've made this perfect for its price-point would be if they included the holstered Blade Blaster. --- It was, though very sparingly.

I kind of hate the hair, but the mold is otherwise solid. My copy of the axe had some weird paint applications.

I was surprised by two thing here, one there's a different civillian head for this release, guess that's one way to intice those who got the Walgreen exclusive. But it looks like the actor so that's a plus. And the second one is the blade blaster in sword mode. I mean it's a simple enough accessory but why wait until the last figure in the MMPR team ro release it. Maybe it makes sense to some suit at Hasbro some where but at least they finally released it. Still it is a good looking figure.

I love Zach's head sculpt. Could it be better? Yes
But is it good on it's own? Also yes. Lol!

2/5 of the way to the Operation Overdrive Once-A-Ranger team, the true milestone for any figure line. Surprisingly, Sentai Figuarts are still more complete at 3/5.

Although i have no nostalgia or love for MMPR, this figure is an excellent representation of the mammoth ranger suit and, as you said, has the one of the sharpest and most accurate sculpts among the lightning collection. One of my favorote figures, and way more natural and realistically poseable than the figuarts.

I love that the axe is functional. But maaan do I hate how much it feels I had to stretch the hand to get it to fit in there in axe mode. Almost makes me wish it had been a dedicated sculpt to hopefully have a thinner handle and then a static gun with the thicker barrel... Probably would've only gotten 1 in this version and 1 in the armored version as Hasbro likes to do as a result though lol.
