Not going to pass but yeah, a big part of my excitement for the series dropped after S2. The thing I liked most about S2 was how they handled the cliffhanger at the end of each ep with that "wo wo wo wo wo wowo" Die Set Down intro everytime xD |

I seem to be in the minority since I actually liked season 2 more than season 1.

I liked them both. I thought Iyu/Amazon Crow was a bizarre and interesting character, Amazon Jin was my favorite character, and I thought the insane gore and ultra-violent fights were great.
I wouldn't want every Rider series to be that dark and gory (and depressing), but I was very happy to see Kamen Rider push the envelope so far and deep into a dark place. |

I wanna be excited by this but, ugh, I was indifferent to Amazonz season 1, and pretty much hated season 2.
I’ll still probably give it a watch for completions sake, but I can’t say i’m Excited for it. |

If the regular show can't return to the grit of "Phase 1" (Kuuga - Hibiki), there's always Amazons. I enjoyed both seasons greatly; I did think at first that certain moments in season 2 were just there for "shock value", but they managed to weave them all into the greater theme of the story, which I really liked. I wonder if some fans are just too used to the last decade or so of Toei shows to really know how things are able to be.
With that said however, I hope they stop Amazons after this. There really isn't much more they can do with it. I'd like to see another Showa Rider get the Amazons treatment. Possibly ZX, as he's only been around in comics and movies beyond his 1984 TV special; it'd be cool to actualy see him as a ninja like the SIC version. |

^ That's what I was referring to. The second half of Kabuto was the beginning of the downturn until W and "Phase 2".

Cannot wait to see more of Jin. Still need to pick up his figuarts version. Shame it goes for so much more than Omega

I have blind Jin on pre-order too.
honestly I don't understand a lot of Figuarts prices. One Kamen Rider will be like $30. (Ghost), another will be like $120. (Gaim orange arms). Maybe I'm an idiot but I find it hard to believe mass produced "toys" are really rare enough to warrant some of them skyrocketing in price. I've read in forums how Orange Arms Gaim is a good first figure because of its design and affordability, then I look him up and he's over $100. So something happened after the posts I've read where he shot up in price. I just don't get it. I've bought them for $20. and I've bought them for $100. and I don't get why one Kamen Rider SHF costs more than another. ..such is life I guess. "Collecting." (and while I'm bitching, where the hell is SHF Kiva, Bandai? ....also I want a Poppy. And not a Rider version,...just a regular Poppy. ) hahhaha ![]() Last edited by KaijuUltraFan; 01-29-2018 at 12:02 AM.. |

The issue there is that Gaim was immensely popular amongst collectors when it first came out, while Ghost is almost universally hated (not to mention that Gaim was probably the pinnacle of non-renewal line Figuarts molds while Ghost's figuart was seen as a steep decline as far as toy engineering and design, though I never had the issues other people had with the articulation). Although that's freakin' odd, I remember not too long ago you could find Gaim for like $30 on Amazon w/ free shipping. I wonder what the hell happened.
