Didn't they do a re-release for Kabuto when Gatack came out? I'd imagine they would do the same for Hibiki.

I myself might need to get another Hibiki since I've lost the fist hands he came with (although thank goodness Hibiki is the one Rider that doesn't seem to use his fists much).

They re-released Kabuto because of the Kabuto Extender but Gatack came out later the same year.

A Hibiki reissue could be a thing but the figure sold so poorly when it first came out that I wouldn't be surprised if they don’t do it either.

Yeah that's why I'm surprised we're seeing Ibuki actually get a release now since I was under the impression Hibiki didn't sell too well.

Curiously enough though, I thought Decade sold better than Hibiki, which is why I'm surprised this is releasing before DiEnd (if DiEnd ever releases).

New official images of Shinkocchou Seihou Ibuki, including Todoroki & Zanki! This very likely means this pair will also be due for release in the next year or so. Often Bandai teases upcoming official releases in photos this way. Zero Drive, Type Tridoron, and others through out the last few years have been teased in this way.

I'm....honestly pretty shocked that Bandai seems to be going all-in with the Hibiki line. Granted, no release has actually been officially confirmed, but this is at the very least a sign that we should be hearing more info in the near future.


Hopefully we get an update on Shinkocchou Seihou Wizard, but more important.....where is DiEnd?

Wow, that complement of accessories actually *is* comparable to Hibiki's. Ibuki just doesn't have something that'd merit show effects parts like Hibiki's flame-drumsticks. The figure looks like he comes with everything he needs.

Beyond that, check out the belt on Todoroki. Bandai is not cheaping out on these figures: there's no notch to hang a henshin accessory from because his is wrist-mounted. That's a terrific detail I didn't expect.

As to the group shot: HA! I've been super salty that the tip of one of the horns on my Hibiki broke off, leaving me with one sharp and one blunt horn. Looks like both the tips on theirs broke off.

The only one of these that's not a must-buy for me might be Zanki, and that's principally a design thing, since (for good reason) he's a color-swapped Todoroki. They could win me over, though, if they give him different accessories, maybe some lightning effect parts or disc animals in their animal modes.

Also: really hoping he includes a flat hand with which to do his introductory air-chop.
