This was a Good Movie.
I was glad to see Taiga and Kouga and there interactions with each other but what i was the most excited to see was the Return of "Kiba". I guess his destiny is forever entertwined with the Saizema Clan.

What i also apprecitiated was seeing Ougha and even if it was for nothing more than a sentance. Learn something about this "Ancient Armor".

My thoughts are still what I said in the Garo thread: I didn't like it, but I didn't not like it. The show was definitely interesting as a one-off, but it's not something I feel compelled to revisit. After this and Jinga, I kinda just want the next Garo project to go back to the basics a bit more.

Judging by the ending I think it'll get a sequel, but yeah as much as I enjoyed it and appreciate the franchise making the room to experiment I'm not sure I'd want it to become an ongoing thing either. It would lessen the impact.

WOW, those criticisms... are completely warranted. Can't argue with a one.

Although now, I'm curious: I've been watching the final episodes (still have one left) with the increasing feeling that this has been the best Rider series since Gaim. But, yeah, honestly, the show had a good number of narrative warts. So why'm I still so well-disposed toward it? Ex-Aid and Build were similarly well-done and more consistent. Is it that I felt Zero-One had more high points...?

We all like what we like. Sometimes things that really click for us just don't work other people, or we're more willing to overlook a criticism that might break a show for someone else. We're all our own people, and entertainment is subejective. If you think it's the best thing since Gaim, fair play to ya. I think I'm mostly with Zeo, with maybe a bit more leniency towards the tournament arc because I binged that so it wasn't quite as painful as doing it week to week.
