Unrelated to the romance and which ships are or aren't canon, something just occurred to me: We thought Tetsuo Daishinji would be the Swordsman of Metal because the kanji of his name talk about metal, right? "I believe in metal" or something like that, IIRC. So him as Slash being the Swordsman of Sound seems to come out of nowhere...

Unless the "metal" in his name isn't talking about literal metal, but a pun on heavy metal music.

It kinda annoys me when we get a Rider like Ex-Aid but then the only other Rider to follow that naming convention is Para-DX.

Yeah, I appreciate that too. It's a small detail, but a consistent naming scheme really helps solidify the idea of the riders being all part of an organization. Plus it's just cool.

Funny enough in Build, all the riders actually hook up with someone, except Sento.

EDIT: My mistake, I just remembered Fourze, though more of a long distance relationship kind.

Sento's katsuragi counterpart keeps his parents. He's just a loner now without banjo 24/7. Now even little sister misora chose grease over him. He have to stick with his cup noodles now. No more free meals deliveries.
