So THAT'S why that part of the crotch area raises up on a hinge...
I didn't see any videos that actually went through the combo with Gridman so I figured that extra bit was for some future transformation, just didn't know what specifically.

That’s cool with the combination of Gridman with Dynazenon but my question is about Gridknight and where are you suppose to put his legs when connecting to Dyna Diver?

Sorry for the double post but I got mine today.
I think this is a good set, much better than DX Full Powered Gridman. It’s a solid combination, everything goes together easily and you don’t end up with a wobbly mess of a product. Only negative for me is that yes, the waist connection of Dynazenon (where Dyna Diver meets Dyna Soldier) is a bit too loose. I can pick Dynazenon up at the torso, it holds, but as soon as I shake it falls apart. That's okay though, you really don’t want to pick this kind of figure up at the chest or arms anyhow. Lifting it up at the legs is fine, everything stays solid. I heard there are tricks to make the connection more secure but they don’t work for me. It can also pop apart when I try to articulate the arms and hold the torso at the same time, but it doesn't get in the way of posing. If anything I like that the connection doesn't feel scary, you can plug in and pull apart easily. And yes, the balljoints for the hip guards pop apart easily, I don't see that as an issue though, better this than potentially breaking hinges. Overall a really good set for that it is. Handling feels great, aside from the waist everything stays together very securely, and the novelty of a combining robot toy like this is great. I honestly even prefer Dyna Rex mode, it looks great and the waist connection isn’t much of an issue here because the torso is much lighter without Dyna Striker as the arms. ![]() I'm displaying him as Dynazenon though, works better. And hey, I got a use for Full Power Gridman again! If only as a companion piece for Dynazenon. ![]() The bottom line: Unlike Full Power Gridman this is a combining robot toy set you actually want to handle and want to play with. It is a bit expensive, quality overall feels solid though and I can forgive the bare plastic and sprue marks because they don’t really hurt the overall look much IMO. I would recommend this set, but only if you have the money to spare. For everyone else the upcoming model kit could prove to be a better solution, especially if the waist connection is more secure. |

Heads up if you have the DX Dynazenon set:
Goodsmile's holding an advanced sale lottery for the Goldburn/Gridknight set on a dedicated page linked in their tweet here: https://twitter.com/GoodSmile_US/sta...61360300822539 If you follow the steps and enter the serial code stickered on the back of your DX Dynazenon manual, you have a chance to purchase and receive the new set months in advance with a scheduled July release rather than waiting for November. Worth a shot if you're going in on the add-ons.
