From these promos we not only get to see the suit and bike, but we also get a glimpse at the Spider Kaijin. And it looks slick as fuck!

Those acrobatic moves are just... wow. I mean sure parkour and acrobatics are nothing new, but it really goes well with the spider kaijin. And that Old Ichigo suit is perfect. I also love how in the promo shot that was released, Ikematsu's stance resembles Anno's cosplay photo from back in the days.

Okay I love the idea of having the Spider Kaijin's legs on the head like The First, but instead of the spindly legs it's presented like they're dreads.

Pretty excited for this! It's kinda wild that there's basically no redesign for Kamen Rider at all outside his Typhoon; even The First was more distinct -- this is going arguably more back-to-the-roots than Shin Ultraman.

On the whole this is looking awesome. The First was a bit more of a remix of ideas to get across the core story while Shin here is looking like a very faithful retelling of those first 13 episodes. Looks like 2023 already has something great in store for me!

Like with Shin Ultraman, I appreciate that Shin Kamen Rider is for the most part just the original Ichigou design, with a few more details here and there. I feel like the production team has this confidence about the original Ichigou design, that it doesn't need any kind of radical modernizations in order to appeal to current audiences.
