I'm pretty sure this was the special they announced alongside the CSM Birth Driver and X-Unit.

So yeah, it's very much a "We need to give this suit more screentime so we can properly sell this new toy" given it suffers from the curse of being one of two power-ups in a movie and usually one falls by the wayside.

It's also likely going to serve as an excuse to make a "Hina ver." of Seihou OOO.

Regardless, I think this could actually end up being really cool as an epilogue to OOO 10th, should they decide to make it that way. Been really liking all of the 10th Anniversary stuff we've been getting so far, so hopefully this'll be fun if nothing else.

They teased it but there's no release announcement or details yet. So far all we have is this image that says "yeah it's happening", so I think it's likely we'll get all details and pre-order announcements alongside or following the special

In the screenshot of just Goto, it looks like he has the Black cores that Nobunaga had.
I do not know if it is really those ones or if it’s the light, but with X using the other colored ones, how would this effect Birth X if all?

sadly I get the feeling the reason why the regular special existed was (other than nostalgia baiting) because Eiji's actor often has a busy schedule or his agency is hard to work with so they just decided to cut their losses and make Ahnk OOO as for this nostalgiabaiting/money

They better show more of Birth X's abilities as we've seen so far the crab part. What of "Ebi" & "Sasori"?

It’s filmed along with the previous movie. It make sense since the greed screen time was cut short. Either eiji returning or ankh will perish once again since it’s destiny’s greed can’t coexist with humanity. Cake boss continue his rampage. Seriously, the previous movie should of been about the king and give eiji more screen time as himself.
