How exactly would he control the exosuit mode? I mean his arms are basically over his shoulders, so controlling the arms would seem difficult unless he was able to control them with his mind.
That toy looks great.
I bet a figuart of this guy wouldn't be that hard. |
Too be honest i never heard about this but it looks pretty interesting
This was an interesting character. I liked his design. Very simple color scheme. Whoever said that the Figuarts of this guy would be simple, very true statement. I would love to see it!!
I'll be honest that I have never heard of this series but the toys look pretty neat.
That is a... unique looking robo, of course I'm just guessing the enemy monsters are not that tall.
i love japanese super heroes.
and not only is the hero great, with the stylized M on his chest, but that race car is insane! and he fits inside??? i gotta go see if they made an updated chogokin version! |
I wouldn't have expected that robot form from a classic toku toy. Doesn't seem like they did things that wouldn't be practical to do in the show all that often.
Wow I wasn't even aware of this series, has any group subbed this in English at this point in time? Anyway it definitely looks like a product of that time, gotta love that chrome.
You know...sometimes, I believe the older toys have a lot more spirit than current toys. That's just me, though.
Between the tentacle, octopus and dolphin I get the feeling someone in the crew really wanted to go to the aquarium.
It's a nifty vehicle, the Jet Dolphin is more than a simple car with wings, the car mode is pretty cool looking, and Dolphin Robo... probably looked cooler in the show. |
It's... interesting? Don't know if I'd watch the show, but it looks pretty nifty.
I love the look of his suit. Wouldn't mind this concept being pulled into a future rider or sentai
I'm all about "future" cars and transforming exo-suits so this is right up my alley. Wouldn't want to pay vintage prices for it though.
That is definitely a coold concept and pretty good execution for how old the figure is, still looks a bit strange being open to attacks though.
I like seeing stuff from more obscure shows like Machineman. Machine Dolphin is a pretty cool looking car... and a jet!
Never heard of this show but this looks awesome.
Amazing toy, especially the jet mode!
I wish a group would sub this series, Id love to see it. Same with Kyodai Ken Byclosser, which also shares the metal hero-like look |
I really love Machine Dolphin. I have seen a few eps here and there of the show it derives from but this design is I believe is the epitome of "1980s cool". The jet mode works very naturally too and the color scheme is on point.
Godaikin is a very hard to find toy line, amazing you found one of these! The transformation is a bit goofy, but the figure and car are really nice!
Ya, no idea what this is but it looks quite neat. The figure looks lackluster (obviously, but for it's time seems quite nice) but the design is of the actual suit is quite striking. The vehicle is nice and its use is quite innovative.
Not gonna lie, I have no idea of and no attachment to this series, but the fact the car becomes battle armor is way too awesome, we need more of that in our shows!
Unique, very cool. Thanks for sharing this. Nice piece of history
Interesting concept for car exo-suit
This thing totally looks like something I'd have back in the day, looks really fun to me but then again I do enjoy silly things that that combined mode.
I'm pretty stoked for more of these secret vintage stash galleries coming up. Something about being a relatively forgotten '80s toy release gives older figures a little sense of... mystery, for the lack of a better term. It's like nostalgia, but for something I can't actually be nostalgic for.
Its So Shinyyyyy! not really into older toku toys, but this looks cool
Surprisingly does a whole lot that I would like to see more modern toys be able to do with ease. Kind of reminds me of the DX lines for Riders and Sentai!
Old school toku FTW! Never heard of this show or any of this stuff but given the age of the show this figure has held up nicely.
Glad to see some old school Toku! Although some may not agree with me, I like the design of Machineman, he's really grown on me--his clear cape tops it off. The Dolphin is pretty neat though, and I agree, a to scale S.H in todays time would be great to see. Thanks for the share!
I wish they still made stuff like this, awesome looking figure
This dude would be an awesome character to show up in Super Hero Taisen: Ishinomori War.
I've literally never heard of this. But that design is so charmingly retro.
The transformation is pretty cool for such an old figure
That's a great looking piece from that time period. I love how many modes it has.
not the worst giant robot I've seen from a toku, not even close. It's certainly interesting though.
Its crazy to see how far we advanced in toys. Still a nice looking piece.
ball boy is neat
It's a neat toy, but I am not feeling the design.
Yeah, can't say I've heard of the show, but the mecha looks cool.
