Finally caught up on Revice for the first time since episode 29. I'm really enjoying it still. I think it's been easier to watch these last 3 or 4 episodes in a row over a few days opposed to weeks, the it feels less like the plot is dragging on when I'm watching them one in a shorter time frame. I do definitely empathize with the comparison to the Build Lostbottles arc though

So when I first originally made the Build comparison, I wasn't actually talking about the Lost Bottle Arc. That was fine for what it was, a bit on the lower end of like fights but mostly a breather for the finale arc.
I was referring to the stretch of Episodes from 33 to 38 I like to dub the "Evolt has four toys to shill so the heroes can do nothing but lose in various ways until Genius happens" and even then Genius was underwhelming because it didn't debut against Evolt and it really barely provided catharsis to the fact that the villain had a solid win streak six weeks in a row. |

Even his personality in human form also really fun too I am personally still upset about Gifu didn't have an interesting personality.... He basically is just a boring non-speaking monster.... Why writer didn't give Gifu a interesting personality? Seriously, Gifu is one of the worst Kamen Rider villain in my opinion... I personally think Gifu should be have personality just like Metsubojinrai's boss... |
Today, George learns that his daddy's demon had the high ground.
But the main highlight for me is Barid Rex becoming relevant again! I know Hiromi returned at the end (yes, I was happy to see him again, but I wouldn't have minded if he actually died), but seeing an old powerup form show up again, especially one with a better color scheme than the current one, was just very nice to see. Again, I've gotten used to Over Demons' design (not a bad design, just initially thought the colors didn't work as well), and I like Aguilera's suit, but for the most part, most of this episode's plot felt predictable in a way? We figured there would be some more conflict with the siblings when they went their separate ways, there's a plan that inevitably gets ruined by Akaishi, and while that's not bad, it's not exactly amazing either (seriously, does every dying person not tell people what really happened or who done them in?). Next Episode: FINAL FORM TIME! |
honestly not as pumped for next week as I should be/usually am for ultimate form debuts with how lackluster the last 8 or so episodes have been plus it's being used on a generic super mook that could've just been a MOTW and it'd not make a difference. At least Issach was such an asshole to the point where you were like YES YES YES at Xross Saber's debut
