DX Demons Driver
|
If this is P-bandai, I hope whatever system the LEDs use to scan the stamps is more long term durable than the magnadoodle system the Revice Driver uses.
|
Wait WHAT? The tertiary(?) Rider's Driver is a P-Bandai?
|
It's one of the earliest Premium Bandai belt item from Kamen Rider series.....
I think Demons Driver is cooler than other Drivers from Revice Series..... |
Demons was a last-minute decision due to liking the actor, a lot like Zenkaiger's Stacaesar -- and like him, I'm guessing he'll be in-and-out of the series a lot rather than a constant presence; and I feel his device being Preban bolsters that.
It's also not technically the earlier preban belt we've got -- 01's Zetsumeriser. Though of course, that was a lot simpler and not for a Rider. |
How can the Demons Driver know what Vistamp is used in the Driver? What is the mechanism that allows for the Vistamp to be used in the Driver and how does it work?

Finally, the true price of the Demons Driver :lol https://i.imgur.com/eulQQh2.jpg |
damn that's a lot
|
Yeah this is pretty much the Big Boy Fancy Pants Belt. Given the whole 46 LED color thing, and the intricacy of the designs on there. They really went swinging for their first P-Bandai Belt.
|
The true demon of this show is capitalism :lol.
But seriously, if it really does have LED and advanced computer gimmickry then I can see why it's super expensive. The thing is though is that P-Bandai is more of an inconvenience to people outside of Japan rather than the Japanese so the target audience should be able to acquire this without much issue. Sucks for us foreign fans though. |
Even after seeing this thing up close, I cannot tell how the hell it works.
|
Hm? Which part? The top part of the belt has a rail and IR receiver. Once it's identified what Stamp is being used, all you have to do is to press down the screen in the front to complete the henshin.

I gotta say the pixel art display for the demons belt is pretty slick, if it has pixel art for every stamp then the price isn't toooooo bad I guess? But it's still too much for me to consider rn lol |

Since Hiromi already unleashed his inner demon (the Rex that Revice defeated) and doesn't have one to use, he has to use another way to transform that's different from the other two riders. Enter, the Demons Driver; an artificial "host" system used to draw out the Spider demon from the ViStamp. The 1st stamping is to draw out the demon and the 2nd stamping is to enter the "contract" like the MOTW now does. It's awesome, imo! |
Umm... Since when was it established that destroying one's Deadman permanently destroys it?

Bandai's posted a video demo-ing the LEDs and sounds for the transformation:

This really reminds me of those prototype belts they showed off at that CSM The Henshin exhibition back in 2019.

the voice of the Demons Driver has been confirmed as Kenjiro Tsuda, who previously played the villain Redyue in Kamen Rider Gaim.
outside of tokusatsu he is perhaps best known as the voice of Seto Kaiba. |
Oof. A hero’s Driver is voiced by the voice actor of multiple villain characters.
